I emailed them again tonight, as this was supposed to be the quickest way to get a response (phones are swamped) If I don't hear anything in the next day or two, I'll have to call.

update: got mine back from being serviced and i put my pb under light there is more fucking dust underneath my pb then there was before be sent out....then i called tech support 10 times to explain to them my situation after being hung up on/not being able to get through...and the best they can do is send it out again to get serviced...the customer service is mediocre at best the people on the phone seem to be grumpy as fuck and don't care about your situation...i guess theres a reason why their stock/market share is in the shit!

Tell RIM customer service that you need your playbook for work and cant have it sent in for service, make them send you a new unit.

i dont want a new unit just mine to be fixed cuz i dont want to take the chance of non raised power button or dead pixels on the screen

i got one a few days ago and i have the ipad too and the only thing i like about the playbook is the fact that it runs flash otherwise i dont use it

Argh, took me all morning to get a hold of someone.

When I finally did, they informed me that my playbook was shipped on the 6th. Sooo it should be here either today (it never showed up) or tomorrow (I'll believe that when I see it)

I asked why I never got the shipment email, she just said that they're so back logged, some emails are late leaving, or never make it out... wtf?! On top of that, she couldn't give me any of the shipping info, so no tracking # :(

So mine 'should' show up tomorrow, but if I needed to track the package, there really isn't a way to do it... sigh. :facepalm:

All of this, and I bet my bro in-law hates the thing, and wants to return it.

Got excited, clicked the link to track the package... "we were not able to find any results"

But it says it was shipped out on the 6th!! Anyone else get this?!

yes i had the same thing happen, i checked back 2 days later and canada post updated itself saying VANCOUVER Order information received by Canada Post

hasn't changed yet and it's been a couple of days.
