What its look like from the outside of the car though? Since I guess some people dont bother taking down their camera everytime they park.

Pretty much what ghost said. Honestly unless thieves are looking for it, the clip on rear view mirror and other goodies on the car are more attractive.

Whether or not its 1080p/5MP is questionable. But I do like:
- the slim design
- 120 degree wide angle lens
- HDMI (and USB) output

Some LED lights appears blinking in videos. I notice it a lot in the Top Gear show
