^ if you put it that high up wouldn't it be blurry when it is raining as your windshield wipers don't reach that high up?

Sorry guys there aren't any extras for the cameras nor has anyone backed out since they're almost all paid for.

As for the manual:
English manual: Blackvue
Firmware: Blackvue

The firmware will change it to an english voice instead of the korean one

Hey man I have yet to hear back from you to pick up the Blackvue I paid for. Drop me a msg asap!

subordinate 02-07-2012 05:54 PM

:seriously:

Why don't you give him a call to arrange pickup.

TypeRNammer 02-12-2012 03:14 PM

Lol, he pre-paid for it though. Anyways, I'm sure he picked it up from ForbiddenX already.

Buying a camera doesn't make you any safer from accidents

I'm sure we all know he meant safer = evidence against hit/runs, guy reverses into you, et cetera.

I daily drive in Richmond so often that if I had this camera, I can compile enough video clips into a DVD and call it "Richmond's Worst Drivers" :fuckyea:

Anyone having problems with their blackvue? Mine randomly stops recording and flashes all the colours of the light and then starts again. Does it every 5 minutes or so.

Well all this buzz has got to me, I'm going to give one of the ebay cams a shot. Trying to get deal extreme to pricematch one of the sellers.

S13SRiding 02-14-2012 05:20 AM

I dont, but with some of the people on the road its a reaally good idea. Cant count how many times my reactions to someones stupidity has saved my vehicle from its demise.. would be some interesting footage thats for sure. What would be a relatively cheap but good camera?

unless pricing has changed i think it was just under $35 shipped. came in under a week. might be faster to just get it off ebay. don't forget you need to buy an SD card too. been using it for a few days now, haven't checked the quality but from looking at the dinky little lcd screen i can see lights and if i'm in my lane, even at night.

had a couple of near misses from a couple of jerkoffs too. felt good having the camera in case one of them actually hit me.

Ah I was looking at this model 5MP 8-LED Night Viewing Digital Car DVR Camcorder with TF Slot (2.0" TFT LCD) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

Ebay had them for about 58$ but it's just nice to know that dx is willing to process warranties for you if there was a problem.

metal 02-14-2012 10:59 PM

^I'm thinking of that one too, off Ebay

I have that one, it's not bad but it's pretty crappy at night. Then again even some $200 cameras are pretty crappy at night.

The DOD F520 is some of the best night video I've seen but it is one bulky ass camera, If you can tuck it away somewhere it'd actually be pretty decent though

metal 02-14-2012 11:27 PM

^How long does a single charge usually last you in terms of recording time??

SE3P-T 02-15-2012 08:19 PM

i use my iphone to act as a video cam for my car...
is pretty decent, easy to use.

the bad side is your battery will die really fast.

Same here...what app are you using ? As for the battery dying, just get a car charger and hook it up to your phone when you use it

i did have a charger.... but is pretty weird when you have the wire hanging on your windshield.. i was thinking hardwire it...but... too much work.

but spending a dollar on a app can do a $300 dollars job... why not?

Paradise240 02-15-2012 09:18 PM

What do you use to hold your phone on the window ? I'm using a cheapo mount...I'll post a picture tomorrow
