I went in increments of 25's. So 25 to start, up to 50, then 75, and eventually 100. My increments went up every 4 days.

XplicitLuder 09-06-2011 03:39 PM

today was the first day back into size training, so like in reps of 10-12 instead of my last 4 weeks of strength. And oh man was it great :D did 21's today for the first time, those are MONEY :sweetjesus:

mkings 09-06-2011 05:51 PM

DO I LAY OFF THE UPPERBODY EXERCISES BECAUSE OF SHOULDER OR CONTINUE.

RAWRRR I WANT TO TEAR MY UPPERBODY UP

RacePace 09-06-2011 07:27 PM

depends on the issue. shoulder and back problems you gotta be really careful

The_Situation 09-06-2011 07:52 PM

This shoulder injury is killing me. All I do is legs and back now. I guess thats a good thing. Gives my wheels a chance to catch up.

vafanculo 09-06-2011 08:02 PM

Stupid shoulder pain/click. Reason I can't increase bench, do dips, or obvious increase shoulder #'s. I bought those Recovery pills you see advertised, and they seem to be working. Pain is gone, but click still there.

Gives some details guys, i hope were in the same boat, cause i want this shit to be healing fasterrrr.

Same vafanculo, doing a lot of things with my right causes it to click, and raising it overhead causes a joint to lock out.

how do you guys prep a chicken/rice/veggie combo for a tupperware container for lunch. that will be eaten cold?

Supafly 09-07-2011 06:39 AM

So went to SC lastnight; was hoping to get some rackpulls and deads in....jesus christ, there was a group of 10 pinner flies buzzing around the racks sitting on chairs and boxes....gtfo of the area if you are not using the fucking racks....its not a damn social community... save that for the change room boys.

I really hope they setup some more squat racks and fix half of their machines....Club16 is looking more and more appealing everyday.....

What time did you go? Was the group of asian kids? It pisses me off when they pull up the one chair in SC to the squat rack, then take turns deadlifting 1 plate 8x each, hyperextending at the top, and then walking around rubbing their lower backs for 10 minutes between sets, wtf. Luckily, every time I've gone I get my own squat rack and no one bothers me, I crank up my music and keep lifting, and don't really care what happens around me.

sonick 09-07-2011 10:22 AM

Where can I get chalk in Richmond?

Pulled 3 plates aside on deadlift for 1 RM, twice last night. Felt I wasn't fully able to lock out at the top tough, my grip was failing.

try the stronglift 5x5 3 days a week and for sure you'll gain a strength boost

on my 4th week and have already added 50 lbs to my squats, 40 lbs to my deadlifts
and 25lbs to the rest

dachinesedude 09-07-2011 01:17 PM

is cycling creatine necessary? been using it for the past 2 months, was thinking if i should stop for a month, or is continued use ok

RRxtar 09-07-2011 02:56 PM

i cycle it. lots of guys dont. theres broscience and real science for cycling and for not.

in reality, theres creatine in beef, so technically, you're taking some (1-2g per good sized steak) per day already so..
