Have anyone taken any sleeping aids?
Found CRASH by Pro Supplements, it looks decent, but the fat burning part.. MEH.

Have you tried/ heard of melatonin? Works well for me and it's natural. wouldn't suggest being hooked on stimulants during the day, and then sedatives at night... can't be good for you

RRxtar 09-15-2012 05:57 PM

+juan to Melatonin

take 3mg and go straight to bed. 30 min before you want to sleep. you'll wake up feeling like you had an extra hour of sleep too. dont take continually every night tho or your brain can lose its reception to it naturally.

i combine it with ZMA sometimes and like it. some people have bad reactions to the 2 combined.

Went to a new gym today, squats weren't going good and I thought I was having a bad day. I then realized for some reason they had olympic weightlifting bars (this was just a community centre, no bumper plates/platform). These bars spin so much and flex so much it completely threw me off. A "warm up" weight almost stapled me on the first rep cause I guess I timed the bounce wrong at the bottom. Kinda interesting experience.

Not much progress this past half year. I've had multiple injuries preventing progress; lower back and shoulder

:notbad:

Hats off to you man. Those are absolutely incredible numbers. I can only imagine how much hard work you put in to get there.

i know nick wright's a fag, but just landed on a really informative deadlift video... really like the analogy he talks about where you should be sitting down 90 degrees to the wall and you'd fall down if your hands weren't gripped on the bar.

he got a crazy deadlift. 619lb at 175lb bodyweight....

Spidey 09-15-2012 07:06 PM

How tall is he? For people who are taller 6'0 + it's very hard to do a regular deadlift. It can be done, but it is a lot harder if they don't have the proper hip flexibility.. His regular deadlift looks like some peoples stiff legged deadlift due to his height.

XplicitLuder 09-15-2012 07:28 PM

5'7 ^ he says it at around 9:20 of first vid

Regardless, it's still a 600lb deadlift.

It is still very impressive. I was just wondering, but downplaying how much he was able to lift.

I don't agree with him advising to keep your head facing up. I think the better way is to keep it neutral with the spine.

TouringTeg 09-15-2012 09:59 PM

Jimzilla 6 plates+ dl is boss. Props.

Did chest this morning and did bench 225x3 and 235x2. Incline bench 160lb 3x5. Both PRs. Can't wait for Monday to try and hit deadlift 325 PR

Wear shorter shorts to show your quads :troll:

Going to be taking a 1 week break from the gym after this week. Body feels like it needs a break :okay:
