Workout Challenge tomorrow. My traps are jacked from deadlifts 2 days ago. Did legs today I think I won't do legs the day after Deadlifts again haha. Leg pressed 6 plates a side after doing my squats and was pretty stoked about that.

Berz out.

I dunno where I found all this motivation but I'm glad I did. More determined than I've ever been to cleanly squat 350 pounds, deadlift 400 cleanly, and get my bench past the stupid 225lb plateau. I've backed down on all my lifts, doing 3 big exercises a day (5x5 style) with 2 helper/isolation exercises. So far, form is great, and I'm adding a solid 10-20 lbs a week to every exercise. :fullofwin:

I got work in about 5 hours, and I've had a pretty horrible upset stomach these last few days, but hell, if I can't go lift weights when my schedules like this, how the hell am I gonna do it once school starts.

The hardest part is going to be diet once school starts. :okay:

Question : Which leg exercises put the most pressure on the knees? Got a history of knee injury. I usually stay away from the leg press.

Fcukedd 09-02-2011 10:43 PM

I guess you can say any leg exercise that involves explosiveness (eg. jump squats, power cleans)

It's gonna suck if you have some knee issues. I'd imagine it would be hard to squat as well.

And for leg press, you should also keep a slight bend in your knees. Never lock out on them

proper deep barbell squats don't hurt your knees at all. I use to do half squats and I used to do smith squats. Both would leave my knees sore and injury prone. Started doing deep barbell squats and i don't have any knee pain. Form makes or breaks every exercise. I used to be the guy who couldn't even squat past 90, a few changes in my form and I'm good to go.

2-5 plastic containers, cook the night before, bring meals needed to school with you.... not hard school aint no excuse to eat like shit

Fcukedd 09-03-2011 12:51 AM

What do you guys usually cook to put in tupperwares when you're always out?
Can't think of anything that I can put in several containers that are also calorie dense foods.

Anyone ever had problems, aches or pains with their front hips from doing squats? (deep squatting, below parallel.)

I squat alot and this is the first time I am experiencing this type of pain :okay:

Fcukedd 09-03-2011 11:17 AM

Thanks for suggestions! Will definitely stock up before school

chin3se604 09-03-2011 12:04 PM

and if your looking for something to snack on.. instead of chips and junk, bring a ziplock of almonds or nuts

Fcukedd 09-03-2011 12:48 PM

Damn I'm actually pretty stoked to prepare meals for school haha I never really have a strict diet during school, and pretty much ate anything. :fullofwin:
