So my left shoulder is fine now, but my right shoulder is fucking JACKED. I think I slept on it wrong?

Anyway, I couldn't do ANY pushing exercises today, so focused on legs and pulls. Did squats, romanian dl, front squats, leg extensions. Chinups and db rows were my pulls. I tried straps on the chins, and easily banged out 10 reps which is double my usual at bodyweight (212)

I tried shrugs for the first time, but I don't get how you're supposed to be able to do them. The bar crushes my junk every time. I tried leaning forward a bit but that doesn't help. Would the ez curl bar avoid that?

Do them slow, pause at the top and bottom. I just do a seated calf and a straight leg calf raise and my calfs are done for days. Slow is the key.

Do lower reps (around 8-12) at with heavier weight and ur calves will come... One thing that will help stimulate the muscle to grow is go do light skipping or brisk walking uphill on the treadmill.. But key is to do low reps and heavier weight so that you can tear your muscle fibers so they can grow back bigger.. If you dont feel like you can do 8-12 reps, lower the weight, if you feel like you can do more than 12 reps, up the weight and start again at 8 reps..

I can barely walk. Motherfuckin DOMS. :megusta: seriously I haven't been this sore in as long as I can remember. From this day forward all future muscle soreness will be compared to this day. "I'm sore but not as sore as that one time...." haha :fuuuuu:

Berz out.

Hahaa on the quote so true

Hey guys,

So yesterday, all of a sudden my inner thigh/hamstrings were in pain. It gradually got worse throughout the day and I struggled to lift up my leg and even get into my car. It also spread to my left hip flexor which got really tight and to lift my leg as well. I just woke up and in bed, and everything I described is tight and it's hard to get up. Even the sides of my lower core is sore.

Anyone know what the fuck happened?

DOMS

Fcukedd 04-20-2012 11:06 AM

Last workout targeted chest which was on Wednesday, so definitely not DOMS. It's not a sore kind of pain, but more of an actual pain which was pretty hard to bear even just by sitting.

ETA: I think I hurt my abductor tendon. Anyone know how to self-treat it? Fuck it hurts, and I was really hoping to train legs today. :fuckthatshit:

If you're feeling the effects of DOMS, it means you're doing it right...
