^once summer ended, did things get easier?

i always find it way easier to focus on training in the fall, and especially the spring.

This is true, once the weather got crappy I noticed alot more ppl in the gym.
I dont think everyone understands the concept of having to workout all year round to reach goals though:p

There are certain people in my gym that just look like the type to only workout when they feel they need to
(aka when its close to summer)

sonick 11-29-2010 11:57 AM

I fucking dread January with all the New Years' Resolution n00bs come into the gym and take up space for a few weeks.

dhari 11-29-2010 01:28 PM

^ same here i hate the "resolution rush" lol
its ok cuz it only lasts for a few weeks, then its back to normal:)

RRxtar 11-29-2010 02:23 PM

fuck the resolutioners are hillarious. this year i think we will put bets on how long certain people will last haha.

last year i think 6 or 8 of my friends started working out for their resolution, only 1 still does. and shes lost 80lbs so far.

Thats awesome for her!

One of my buddies was gonna stop after a few weeks cause he wasnt seeing results.. but me and another friend convinced him to keep going

Now he's lost almost 50 lbs?

RRxtar 11-29-2010 03:58 PM

starting the gym worked out fantastic for her

not only did she lose the weight, but BECAUSE she lost the weight and got healthy the rest of her life improved. she dumped the guy shed been dating since she was 14 (22 now) as hes a bit of a dumbass, met new people, moved out of town, and started her life over. she went from quiet and shy to outgoing and fun.

edit: i lied. there are 2 people still at it. the other one has lost a ton of weight too and ive never seen her as happy as she is now too.

Ouch.

So she got hot and ditched her guy of 8 years.

Poor poor bastard

Same problem as yesterday perhaps?

The_Situation 11-29-2010 05:55 PM

Nope this is the first time I've taken super dump

SkinnyPupp 11-29-2010 06:33 PM

But you were having shit problems yesterday. Today you tried super pump and are having shit problems. Doesn't necessarily mean the two are correlated.

gdoh 11-29-2010 06:53 PM

i had the same problem b4 with shitting. i just continued taking it and it went away

RRxtar 11-29-2010 07:03 PM

i used to shat on superdump but its not a problem anymore. if anything it helps me fire one out before the gym, which is a good thing.

what i am finding tho, is chicken is giving me a hard time with some horrible meaty farts. seems like its mainly the big ass box of chicken breasts from costco.

SkinnyPupp 11-29-2010 07:13 PM

Are those pure chicken breast? I don't know, but a lot of the time, frozen packaged meat is not just "100% meat". It contains a lot of fillers like starches and crappy fats that will definitely wreak havok on your gut

RRxtar 11-29-2010 07:25 PM

ingredients: boneless skinless chicken breast, water, salt

100g contains 90cal, 0.4g fat, 250mg sodium, 0carb, 20g protein.

they arent costco's 'kirkland' brand which i am suspect of. and i refuse to eat their fresh meat as its clearly pumped full of god knows what.

gdoh 11-29-2010 07:51 PM

^maybe your body is absorbing enough of the protien

SkinnyPupp 11-29-2010 07:55 PM

How do you cook them? Adding fat might balance the meal out a bit and make it easier to digest...

RRxtar 11-29-2010 07:59 PM

i just cook them with salt and pepper in the oven. then slice them up for wraps for lunch.

wraps contain: multigrain wrap, mayo, chicken, cheese, pepercorn ranch, letuce.

SkinnyPupp 11-29-2010 08:13 PM

Could be the multigrain wrap...

trancehead 11-29-2010 08:17 PM

did reverse chin ups for the first time today. that is, pulling yourself up with your neck just touching the bar. wasn't too easy as with regular chinsups lol
