do you guys think it is worth using a mobile security / anti virus app? i do have many passwords saved on my phone..?

^ I have AVG Antivirus Pro just like the AVG on PC. It scans for virus, has protection (data wipe, sd card wipe, phone lock all remotely done from computer), also has GPS scan location to email, and performance settings. Its a good all-in-one tool

A good mobile security app is the cerberus app. It can take screen shots of the perp. if they try to unlock your phone and sends an email with location without notifying them that you are taking a photo of them. Also has the remote alarm (even if the phone is on silent), location updates etc.

Both apps are one time fee. Well worth it IMO for the cerberus app

i just got my s4 yesterday and i don't think my sensor is working.

it wont detect my eyes and will automatically lock after the 15 second delay. i have tried in all weather conditions and it IS activated. am i missing something else i should be doing?

i bought a sgp case for my iphone 4 a while back. after leaving it on for a while, whatever was on the inside of the case touching the back surface pretty much left a mark of whatever is imprinted on the case onto the back of the phone. i had a symbol and the letters SGP on the back of my iphone 4. you can take it off after some hard rubbing but i found that rather annoying.

So I've run into an issue with my s4. It's less than a week old and my volume up button is stuck. Is there any other way to get it to unstick that doesn't require me taking apart my phone and voiding my warranty? If not I'll just take it back to the rogers store I got it from and see if they'll replace it. I couldn't find anything on google on how to get it unstuck without taking everything apart...

That's kind of what I was thinking, but was hoping I could maybe salvage it until I was able to get there.

did any of you guys consider extra warranty on your s4? with all the new sensors and stuff do you think something could go wrong?

Hi, I'm looking to get a new phone. I'm with fido right now but not on contract.

I wanted to get the nexus 4 because of the price/performance, but is there any other phones that are coming out in the near future that I should wait for?

Particularly the google edition galaxy s4. Will it be coming to canada? Does anyone know? I really don't want to pay full price for it.

It was explicitly stated the Vanilla S4 would be US only.
That also means any warranty issues would have to be sent to the US and Google will only send the device back to an address in the US.

I got 2 years warranty with rogers, covers everything and you get up to 3 replacements for a 100 dollar deductable.

anyone else having troubles connecting to the rogers network with their S4? I have this N with like the wifi corner symbol where the 4G/LTE would be. Ive restarted my phone, took out battery and SIM card. Data is also turned on.

How can I test if my wifi is working properly? When im using wifi it will either load a page very slow or it wont load a page at all. Even when I'm in the same room as the router.

I notice after I got the s4 I have to change one setting in my router in order for it to work. Otherwise I get the same problem bigzz have. Forgot which setting. I'll check when I get home.

Anyone flash a ROM yet? Any opinions and feedback? I still haven't found a good ROM to flash that has a lot of features yet minimal amount of bugs.

Took it back, ended up getting a DOA replacement. New one seems to be just fine, will keep my fingers crossed it doesn't happen again. They couldn't tell me what caused it since there were no drop marks or anything on it. Guess it was just faulty manufacturing?

on the s4 I don't see any options moving apps 2 sd can someone recommend me a program that does that? and does it a require a root?
