Dalpe and Stanton are for the NHL squad. Welsh is for Utica.

When Gillis said "its time for some young guys on this team" I thought he meant guys we DRAFTED not a bunch of career AHLers...

I doubt Stanton is for the NHL squad.. we already have Weber and Alberts up, and it would be a slap in the face to bring in Stanton over Corrado.

Dalpe was going to be placed on waivers, but we paid so we'd get him instead of a lesser team claiming him.

We picked Stanton off waivers meaning he has to go on our NHL club. We'd have to place him on waivers to send him down and Chicago would claim him back for their AHL team.

Dalpe is decent, an upgrade on Schroeder. Unfamiliar with Stanton, but he's supposedly a reliable stay-at-home defenseman.

Well, hopefully we waive Alberts. I was sad when we re-signed him this year, not a fan of his play at all. Brings a physical presence, but at the expense of penalties / goals against.

vs SJ2: -3, 2 PIMs, 16 mins, 1 Hit
vs Edm: -1, 2 PIMs, 17 mins, 2 Hits
vs SJ1: -1, 11 PIMs, 14 mins, 4 Hits

He's a great 8th dman that sits in the press box and doesn't complain about not getting ice. With our injury luck we do need him maybe not now but we really will sooner or later!!!

You can't really go by preseason numbers since we never had a full team and when you ahve so many rookie/ahl forwards the D have to deal with all the mistakes/turnovers

The only REMOTE reason he's considered great is because he's only getting paid 600k. He doesn't complain about getting ice because he knows everyone else is better than him :lawl:

He's big but makes the worst decisions ever. Brb go for the body just after the blue line, taking himself and another guy up leaving a 2 on 0 with 15-20 feet to work with...

And it took Bouwmeester 11 seasons to get his first playoff experience.

I'm still pissed off with AV burning Corrado's entry level contract lst year because of those pathetic ass playoffs...
