After a few beers I find it hard to follow the play from the upper bowl but then again I probably need glasses :okay: Posted via RS Mobile |
if we got the heritage classic does that mean there will be an HBO special? I've been waiting to see kb3 and kes mic'd up Posted via RS Mobile |
Don't think there will be an HBO on our team as it's just the Heritage Classic as opposed to the Winter Classic. Quote:

all these moves will make the oil tougher to play against but they still need a goalie. i can see them making the playoffs but not much noise after that. |
Hall - RNH - Eberle Perron - Gagner - Yakupov Solid (but tiny) top 6.. now, they should trade for a goalie I like perron too |

It was a treat to see Roy during the regular season; I can't remember the last time MG brought in a forward who had actual legitimate skill. Too bad he hit a dry spell at the wrong time. |

Either way, if he came to Van, him and Bieksa would've made a solid shutdown pairing. |
Bruins just inked Rask 8 years 56mill |

How long before we hear about another goalie's "low" annual cap hit.. :troll: |
What concerns a fellow Canuck fan like me is how active the Oilers are in the free agent frenzy. If both Luongo and Ryan Miller want to be traded, do it Gillis! San Jose, LA, and Anaheim are set in terms of goalies. If Miller wants to play on the West Coast so that he is closer to his wife (actress Noureen DeWulf), maybe Buffalo might be a potential trading partner. Lu and family would be closer to Florida if he played in Buffalo. As long as the Sabres' owner is willing to take on that albatross of a contract, do it! Don't give the Oilers a chance to get Miller. Lu has the "low cap" hit compared to other goalies now. :lawl: |

lol pastarocket, Millers cap hit is 6.25 million AND he is a UFA the year afterwards and not to mention, that is a lot of risk to take just to prevent Edmonton from attaining a goalie |

What is a realistic trade scenario to get a proven no. 1 goalie if Luongo wants a trade? We are not getting that nut job Bryzgalov for sure. What goalies are available? |
i ultimately think Lu does end up playing most of this is just speculation / pot stirring from the media. (unless one of those interview clips have him saying otherwise FIRSTHAND, i did not watch them all) or if anything, he wants a tough poker face to show up management. show that he doesnt like to be dicked around i do think the locker room is pretty tight knit. i would have to think that Lu would not want to let his teammates down more than anything (we could use the whole cory/lu fiasco to sort of see he was a team guy first), and that probably is the most important factor as to whether or not he will play Worst case scenario, Lu hates his teammates. and we sign Tim Thomas:lawl: |
