Hate to rain on the subban parade, but remember the kid is a low 4th round pick, 5'9" dman. I'd be surprised if he can even play well in the ahl

What I like about the subban pick is the family pedigree. When your brothers are already drafted /in the nhl the resources for your development are far greater than a player with no previous connexion to the nhl IMO, let alone when your brother is a star like PK is. The drive to make if seems even greater

For sure but resources only get you so far imo. When you're a shorty playing defense, you're ceiling is limited unless you bring lots of others things to the table, which will remain to be seen. And no, BBC isn't one of them. If PK was 5'9", no way he's the player he is today.
