Virtanen might become a good player one day but he'll never be as good as those two will be.

Canucks called, I think they have a scouting position waiting for you.

Stecher has been tapping ever since he's been up

couldn't watch the game last night but... how did Megna look?

I would love to be a scout. Getting paid to watch hockey.

My reports would consist of the following is Willie is still on the team:

Pretty good
Really good
Very good

Well, let's just say 2 of them are producing and making an impact, the other is hiding behind excuses (that fans give) with attitude issues and minimal points to show for.

It's like waiting for Kassian to suddenly turn around and rip it up...
Most solid top 6 players don't shit the bed first few seasons and then suddenly turn it around.

I had to decline, Jim wouldn't offer anything else besides a 2nd, a 5th round pick and a club 16 pass.

There's not much to celebrate for Vancouver sports teams these days. I'll take the wins wherever they come. Let's be honest, the Canucks are not going to be going anywhere far with this lineup but tonight was gritty and Horvat/Stecher was fun to watch. Heck, even the Russian giant was good too.

LSF22 11-26-2016 10:59 PM

lol most of us know the wins wont last for long, lets just hope the wins here and there build confidence in some of our younger core guys

dbaz 11-27-2016 09:32 AM

No.

trancehead 11-27-2016 07:33 PM

Edler should be moved anyways. hes no longer a threat on the PP and cant make simple plays to get out of the zone

at least JB shipped out Bieksa for a 2nd. Pretty good value.

highfive 11-27-2016 09:43 PM

Edler should've been moved as soon as he signed that big contract.

Guy literally stopped shooting, stopped hitting, and started the drop pass.

But him being tight with the Sedins and Trevor will probably make it imposisble to trade.

I would trade for Duchene if it's lottery protected.

68style 11-27-2016 11:37 PM

^ To be fair, I doubt the drop pass is his idea... everything these players do is scripted by the coaching staff.

Infiniti 11-28-2016 04:58 AM

Unfortunately, Edler ain't going nowhere anytime soon!

6o4__boi 11-28-2016 07:38 AM

Lol JV basically came out and said he was left in the dark about playing time and they didn't communicate anything to him.

Also said he doesn't know what Willie was talking about when he said he went back to Vancouver after the road trip for his "stuff".

Seems like we won't be seeing him in Vancouver as long as Willie is coach. Buffalo reportedly also had scouts to watch Utica play.

Well I think everyone watching Utica games knows what the "stuff" is. He's floating and being unengaged there too.

The pictures of him grabbing his own taxi to the airport after the Carolina game are brutal lol

Florida Panthers Fire Coach Gerard Gallant, Make Him Catch A Taxi

I thought FLA would take another step this year given the core being a year older together. They remind me of the Winnipeg Jets of yesteryear. The young talent is all there but they can't put it together just yet. Given they don't have a tier 1 goalie prospect in the pipe they don't have much time before Lu degrades if they want to make any runs soon.
