Mr.Money 11-19-2016 08:42 PM

goalie wasn't prepared for that one.

LsquareD 11-19-2016 08:53 PM

Not mad we choked and lost. That was a pretty exciting game to watch hahaha

van19 11-19-2016 08:58 PM

That was some goood ass hockey. The Tank continues

Gumby 11-19-2016 09:38 PM

My son said "3-0, we're gonna win right?" :lol

Both of the goals scored in OT were goal-scorers' goals: Toews shooting through Sedin's legs while using him as a screen, and Hossa appearing to cut to his right but shooting at the same time. Such talented players!

m3thods 11-19-2016 10:23 PM

That was probably the best OT I've seen since the World Cup Team NA vs Sweden. So many chances.

If only the Canucks could actually finish.

Anyone else getting the sense that Markstrom seems like he's trending towards being a career back up goalie instead of a starter?

I know we suck, but some of the goals he's let in have been pretty weak. I was against it initially but I wouldn't really be opposed to re-signing Miller to a short-term extension while Demko develops.

Hondaracer 11-21-2016 09:43 AM

hes kinda like a Luongo, he'll save a crazy flury then let in a softie once in a while.

Im pretty sure most goalies have it, its just the frequency which becomes noticeable

6o4__boi 11-21-2016 09:51 AM

That's high praise lol

At this time he reminds me more of Cloutier than Luongo. Has potential to string together good games but lets in a beach ball every now and then.
Makes sense to some extent cus Clouts is his goalie coach LOL

UFO 11-21-2016 10:34 AM

Lol loses to NYR and Blackhawks, now a bust and career backup.

Markstrom is aggressive and sometimes overaggressive on the initial shot; I've noticed this more this season without Rollie's presence. But you can do that IF your d help take care of the rebounds and passing lanes.

The chi game really there's 1 goal he should have had, but the d also shouldn't have let the guy walk in like that.
