I'm shocked not sure if I'm happy but I think it's a good move, we as a team needed this and it sucked dim Jim didn't trade down but all in all everyone said he's a stud defensive dman

I was expecting my Sabres to maybe have a shot at Juolevi at 8 as we have a need for D prospects. Not a horrible pick for the Canucks, especially after Dubois went off the board.

virtanen is a better pure goal scorer than tkachuk. he's also a better skater. tkachuk has better vision.

If Juolevi can develop into a a top 2 defenseman I think canucks made the right decision. Some of the arm chair Gm's in here. Benning has shown he can see talent, you guys harp him for so much and never praise the guy for what he has done.

I thought they were going to get Bishop. I still think they will be a pretty decent team next season. However, Elliot is a huge difference from Bishop and I agree he probably won't be a great solution for Calgary, long term at least.
