Depending on how many games in hand teams have, they could take games away from teams so all teams have played an equal amount.

As of right now we are out of the wild card. We are tied with Nashville with pts and GP but they got one RW more than us.

So if they start playoffs right away then we miss.:rukidding:

Well it's only logical for it to be based on pts percentage. Imagine missing the playoffs by 1 pt when the team that beat u out played 3 more games than u did

Fair enough, although I have been scrounging around looking for pieces of information. Was watching Friedman on SN say that there's nothing set in stone yet as to how the NHL will resume play.

He mentioned a few things he's heard which included all teams playing until 76 games or inviting 22 teams to the playoffs with some having byes.

I don't know if this changes the best to worst case timeline scenarios at this point.

Sorry to disappoint but I highly highly doubt there will be any more NHL games as part of the 2019/20 season. If they can start the 2020/21 season at the normal time of the year, then it's a good sign because that means life would have returned to some sort of normalcy.
