I'm sure Tocchet won't be happy with this despite the victory. There was no reason to have such a sloppy 2nd period other than taking your foot off the gas. Fans are definitely happy though lol.

It’s almost impossible to not get back on your heels when you go up 3-0 in the first against any decent team. The opposing team is bound to have chances and most of theirs were pretty good

In years past, that was true. This year their 2nd periods have actually been really good too. I can't find the info right now, but they've mentioned it during broadcasts this season. Last night really was an anomaly because our opponents rarely tie the game or take the lead from us in the 2nd.
