It sucks because I hate the Coilers, but love McDavid. He should gtfo of there! I'll cheer for pretty much any team he goes to, except the Laffs or Tampon Bay

I haven't gone to look to confirm but somebody told me fun fact in the last 20 games both the Canucks and Oilers each got 32 points so while a 16 game wine streak is damn impressive no matter who you played, a team who didn't have a "win streak" still managed the same success.

Dec 6th the Oilers were 12 points back from the Canucks, on Feb 6th and after a 16 game winning steak the Oilers are 14 points behind the Canucks...

I heard that yesterday and was straight up impressed that after all that hard work the they haven't made any ground (yes I know they have games in hand but still, its impressive)

Although we have only seen Lindholm play one game as a Canuck, his game against Carolina was quite good. Good presence in front of the net.
Lindholm on a line with Petey and Mikheyev gives Tocchet options in terms of faceoffs.

Petey's elite passing means more scoring opportunities for Lindholm. He also plays a 200 foot game with contributing on offence and being responsible defensively.

There was definitely some rust in the 1st period but after that Canucks got right back to where they were before the break. Lots of dominant play in the offensive zone. I dunno how (or who) but if we can add another RHD before the deadline I think we will be set. What a difference one year has made for this team. Just incredible.

Early back to back games this weekend. Canucks seems to get the most shit schedule

I'm still curious about that, it can't be because of 2011. There has to be more to the story unless he was that much in the zone and missed him which was possible. It has to be beef from before they were in the NHL

FWIW, Kevin Woodley said that he's sat down with Demko a few times and Demko is very nice about going over plays and analysis, but when it comes to things that are personal like why he tapes his stick a certain way, etc he clams up and when he's serious or dialed in he doesnt' have time for theatrics or performative stuff. Kinda makes sense based on what we see in his media availabilities.
