Don’t see too many of the manual supercharged ones pop up…

edit: not supercharged

whitev70r 01-23-2025 05:49 PM

Not the best poster but ...

09 Gated R8, 107K kms, $85K (one of the lowest prices I've seen recently, most are >$90K)

Holy crap! A reasonable price, might be good buy material.

Honda supercharges the weirdest things

JDMDreams 01-23-2025 08:03 PM

You know sc doesn't mean super charge.

Sc stands for street custom. Only available with 2wd and with that there is no rear moon roof available. Different headlights and I guess you can say it comes with a ground effects body kit. Also different suspension than regular elements so parts are a lot harder to find if available.

:okay: street cred

The mileage is on the high side, and it looks like the interior is custom because I'm 99% certain the stitching on the seats is aftermarket. I had an '09 V10, and I don't recall the R8 having an option for that stitching.

100% aftermarket. That Carbon side blade is also. V8's came with a painted side blade not carbon. Found an older listing for the car without the exhaust and 10k less KM's. https://vehicle-direct.ca/inventory/2009-audi-r8-22237/

Quote:

[4.2L V8 Engine and 6-Speed Manual Transmission, Producing 420 HP and 317 LB of Torque. Daytona Grey Pearl Effect Paint with Carbon Fiber Side Blades on Custom Honeycomb Black Leather Interior. Heated Seats. Auxiliary Port. Active Spoiler. Upgraded 10-Spoke 19” Rims. Black Brake Calipers. Rear View Camera. Parking Sensors. Navigation System. CD Changer. Bluetooth & Much More!
Anyone looking at this check the magride shocks they will fail. 10K for aftermarket coilovers.

09 V10's are super rare in North America. Only 31 where brought in for the Toronto film festival with only 12 being manual.

Harvey Specter 01-24-2025 07:54 PM

This was my car, it was incredible spec...

JDMDreams 01-25-2025 12:29 PM

This is insane. An almost 10 year old beetle in the least desirable trim (convertible) for 100k ?!? 100…. Thousand…. Real ….. world… dollars??!!!?

You know you can buy a LC convertible for 100k. Or a 2018/19 coupe for like 70-80k

Or a brand new c8 vette

Or like a supra and still have 20k left over

Or 2 Hitler boxes and 10k left over

This makes me hate those bitche ass porchs even more. Fuck you porch you wooden, flat, boring looking motherfucker you

bcrdukes 01-25-2025 04:17 PM

/Badhobz goes and buys it

AstulzerRZD 01-25-2025 05:53 PM

How difficult is it to import a Porsche?
Heard MB is really difficult with getting the recall clearance letter and approval.

bcrdukes 01-25-2025 07:17 PM

Generally speaking - hard. The recall letter is a pain in the ass.
I did this for BMW and that was equally as awful of an experience.

68style 01-25-2025 09:46 PM

More like expensive than hard.

A lot of German cars don't have dual indicating gauge clusters or switchable ones an you have to have km/h indicated in some way, so if it only displays MPH then you have a gauge cluster swap on your hands.

EvoFire 01-25-2025 09:50 PM

All the new BMWs have an electronic gauge cluster now, same with Audi, so they can all switch unlike before. Most models made in the last decade has digital cockpit as an option.

Even Porsche has moved their 911 to all digital for the 992.2, to the outcry of many enthusiasts.

Ironically a US production E46 M3 has both MPH/KMH in the cluster. Whereas a Canadian production vehicle only has KMH LOL.

Any BMW I have been in has been in is like that. Pre digital speedos of course.
