hate to burst your bubble, you're supposed to weld the spiders, not the ring and pinion to make a posi. Now your diff won't turn at all.

RRxtar 02-25-2009 09:22 AM

haha. that picture was posted on another forum. im not quite that stoopd

Slo40 02-25-2009 09:25 AM

LOL nice, was hoping you weren't that dumb :grin-FU:

jeffh 02-26-2009 08:32 AM

^ shawn's been in a hick town too long, he cant tell good satire when he reads it. lawl

on a related note, installed my Aussie Locker auto locker yesterday at honja on the day off
also did all the bearings and seals in the rear, t-case seal, oil change, greased all the u-joints, changed the serp belt, dropped the tires to 15psi and went to postil to try it all out...

OMG is all i have to say about it

craig, new rig looks good. got quite the bike collection now hey

down_hill_dog 02-26-2009 09:53 AM

Sounds like the heep is going to be quite the machine man! With that locker and the tires I bet it goes ANYWHURZ.

I ended up selling the bmx, just was'nt my style. The 20" wheel size was throwing me off badly after riding mtb's for so many years. The .243 is one of the closest things to a BMX i'll get with 26" wheels.

bmxkelowna 02-26-2009 11:38 PM

A+ on the jeep jeffy

Tchleung 02-28-2009 03:03 PM

3.91 LSD rear end
27mm 325 axles
rear half of the driveshaft for the rear end swap.

Tchleung 03-03-2009 10:48 AM

Modded a TJ Jeep into the side of my parents van I was driving today. Fucker...

RRxtar 03-03-2009 04:10 PM

Scavanged some factory tow hooks and mounting brackets from a 98 Grand Cherokee at PYP today. install tomorrow. things are alot beefier than I expected.

now I can fix Jeffh's woops when we go Heeping.

jeffh 03-03-2009 04:24 PM

jeeps are all over this thread!

my tranny is slipping in snow and 4 hi, does that count as a mod?

RRxtar 03-03-2009 04:40 PM

do a fluid flush. made a world of difference in mine

jeffh 03-04-2009 02:20 PM

this is what danny tells me too. i got 2 axle shafts today from pnp, my RR wheel wobbles like nuts on the highway, bearings are new so i think it should be the flange on the shaft is bent a little? and now ill have spares!

RRxtar 03-04-2009 03:56 PM

you went to PYP without me? no fair.

on a side note: hooks are on. lets go get you stuck somewhere

Tchleung 03-07-2009 04:43 PM

jeffh 03-07-2009 04:57 PM

Tchleung 03-07-2009 05:11 PM

It was. but we had an arrangement for me to hold it for a bit to put interior back together and retune it a bit once it got warmer out.

girlcrazy_420 03-16-2009 04:36 PM

Between 2 of us, we've spent bout' 5hrs polishing a set of VERY dirty wheels. Starting the mods on the new ghetto g-ride. So far its been handfulls of weight removal of useless crap on the car. (useless interior, intake, cutting the coils etc)
