down_hill_dog 05-24-2005 10:14 PM

i have seen it a couple times but nothing major.

fourtirefire 05-24-2005 11:09 PM

todays mods:
saved probably 150lbs from the ass end of the car gutted from the front seats back,(mostly because i had to find where my antenna wire was hiding underneath all the plastic trim pieces) but i'll leave it this way for a bit.. see how i mind/dont mind it.

oh and did some datalogger tuning, seems like the fuel trims are starting to adjust the way they should be! And the knock counts are going nowhere but doowwwn!

down_hill_dog 05-25-2005 07:59 AM

good stuff danny... stoked for you dude... see sticking with her was a good idea eh???

fourtirefire 05-27-2005 04:58 AM

oh no at least you don't have a cavaqueer trying to race you haha..

oh tom.. heat soak is killing performance.. intercooler is needed

whitetalon 05-27-2005 12:43 PM

it would be alot smarter to go with water injection.

Tchleung 05-27-2005 04:33 PM

If you were to go water injection, It'd be worthwhiel to jsut do meth or alcohol injection. IMO. forget all taht and jsut get an IC and be done with it. Don't ahve to worry about refilling the IC fluid. ;)

down_hill_dog 05-27-2005 05:59 PM

true that tom...

mod of today, dropped a wad of cash and had my exhaust re-done... stock baby woopwoop

jeffh 05-27-2005 08:39 PM

mod of the day. dont try doing rear control arm bushnigs without a press. biggest waste of 6 hours ever. and i still have to pay some moneky to press the new bushnigs in for me.

TDCRacing 05-27-2005 10:50 PM

Mod of the day:

My engine now contains the crankshaft, pistons, oil rail and baffle, oil pump and water pump

sorry to hear that buddy :S i'm NOT stoked to do mine.

whitetalon 05-28-2005 10:56 AM

water injection is always good no matter what size of intercooler you have the water will always drop intake temps and keep the pistons clean of carbon build up. Makes it like running on race gas and extremely reduces knock. Water is free just boil it and your ready to go. If you can afford both then get IC and WI

blue92eg 05-28-2005 04:16 PM

Mod of the day:

Removed bumper, re did some work with IC pipping as it was rubbing against metal and vibrating. Also flipped my IC back around so "Spearco" is back up front, and also gridned down the almsot non existant JDM bumper support even more. :D Oh also made new turbo intake pipe with real mandrel pipe this time.

fourtirefire 05-29-2005 09:09 AM
