Sorry for bumping this, but has anyone on Rogers noticed their monthly bill going up because of increased taxes? This is the SECOND time it has happened while I had this plan. Although I had this plan for a looooong time. It used to be around ~74 bucks after tax. Then it became $76.16. Today it went to $78.40. I log in to My Rogers thing, and the plan and fees etc haven't changed ($70), but GST and PST now add up to $8.40. It isn't the end of the world, but annoying to see your phone bills going up, what "feels like" once a year. I was wondering if this happening on every other cell provider? |
I would call in a bug them to credit you back b/c as far as I know, taxes have not gone up. It is more about the principle of it too. Imagine how much they are making if they over charge a lot of clients and everyone thinks the same as pays it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Does anyone remember how much you get charged for going over on data? I can't remember what the scale was? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
From their website, it looks like they're now charging $5/100mb. Not sure if they still use the flex scale or whatever it was back then. |
some tip on how to save some money on your cell phone plan. This is based on telus but i hope it works with rogers too. |

Wife who is in the same plan as me got that email today except it is slightly different. Raise of $9 to $59/month according to CRTC rules in effect Sept 2. We're currently on the $50/ 5GB government plan. I have yet to receive the email yet but probably won't be long. |
I received that email last week. I'm surprised they took another week before sending you one |
I will be leaving Rogers after my current term is up. I'm sick and tired of their shitty coverage in areas that they should be working. I was downtown around Davie and Denman for the fireworks and had no signal on Saturday last weekend. I get no signal in ROGERS FUCKING ARENA!! My office is a concrete building, that means no signal for Rogers! The funny thing is my work supplies me with a Telus phone and it works like a champ where I work. |

My bill went up a couple of bucks a few months ago to $70 without any notice, if they do it again I'm gonna be choked. The shitty thing is even if it goes up another 10 bucks I won't be able to leave and get a better deal since all the new plans are garbage. |

[Fido] $45 & $50 BYOD Loyalty Pulse 2GB/3GB (updated) - RedFlagDeals.com Forums |
Yup. That's the plan I'm thinking. The 50 bucks for 3 gig. I'll get my mother the 45 dollar pLan. So 95 plus taxes. Is better then 152$ taxes I . I need to lower my cost of living. |

Fido has a $15 Data Flex Plan. It's meant for tablets but it'll work just fine for phones. They'll even issue you a phone number.. just make sure not to use this plan to make actual phone calls through your "Phone" app.. cause it'll cost you $1/minute.. lol 1GB - $15 up to 3GB - $25 up to 5GB - $35 Additional data after 5GB is $10/GB http://www.fido.ca/consumer/tablets |
im currently paying 85$ for 2gb and unlimited everything. Are there better plans out there? Not looking to pay anything higher than what I have as a student. |

So my bill shot up 10 dollars this month except I didn't get so much as a courtesy email about it. Fuck you Rogers. |
The guy from online chat told me to call and ask for the loyalty department lol, I'm sure this will go well. |
