$57 all in.

Debating if I should switch carriers reneg with retentions.. You guys think I could keep the plan but for $45 all in?

You'll be a super negotiator if you can get that for $45 taxes in. I'd actually be happy with $55 all in.

Cassijon 04-22-2012 10:21 PM

that would be an amazing plan if u could get that for $45 tax in.

saveth 04-23-2012 10:04 AM

That's the same plan I have but instead of long distance I have my5. I pay 57 all in also.

$57 after tax.

I still think $57 with taxes in is way too much. Will be leaving Rogers to try Wind.
Worst case, I have the company berry if coverage is spotty.

Coverage with wind locally is pretty good. Theres just the odd few far out spots without any coverage. I can't however say anything about concrete buildings because I don't work/live in one. You
May run into problems in high rises.

Now that is a good plan. If Rogers offered me that I would have stayed with them instead of porting over to wind. Rogers coverage just cannot be beat.

Argh so choked bought a new LTE phone still have my 6 gig dataplan, only to find out i would have to pay the same for the 6g dataplan to get 3gigs of lte wtf. There has to be a higher data usage plan? I was really looking forward to using the higher speeds and i'm already pushing 4 gigs for the months usage....
I'd be happy if they gave me +1 gig on the 3 gig plan or something.

wasnt there a trick to add data sharing which is LTE and then remove it but keeping the 6gb plan as LTE .

i saw it on redflagdeals....

KICK ASS. Even tho the promo is expired I found a code that works so I have it now :D:D:D:D

HonestTea 05-15-2012 05:46 PM

WTF THOSE SNEAKY FUCKING ASSHOLES! Rogers called me, offered me 36 months $5 data credit with a 3yr renewal, I took it and I called back to see if it has been added and see if my plan is the same. Rep tells me my other credits(like 3 of them) will expire in April 2013 while the $5 data credit(which they offered me for 36 months) will expire in 2015. So technically, I'm renewing for 3 years/36 months, in which I'll be paying $15+ more every month after April 2013 since they cannot renew the existing old credits.

Nice try...FUCK!

Anjew 05-15-2012 08:45 PM

I hate it when i have to call back and make sure changes made are done properly. cant they hire anyone competent? its almost every time there is a discrepancy.

i called in to bargain and they told me what i am getting is already a good deal. I pay $73 after tax each month and i only have 300 daytime, 500mb data :okay: with the other features being the same as yours.

what should i do?

Something on the lines of it "So I will be paying $37.50 for the duration of the contract, which is now 36 months/3years?" and he replied, yes. So I was like Sure, why not.

Yes, he offered you but never said anything about your credits.

I just resigned for 3 years on mine,

I was trying to hold out till the iphone5, but my 3gs completely died and I needed a new phone.

I called them and got transferred to retentions right away, then I told the guy my phone died, and I need a new phone, He can either

a) try and keep me and give me a better deal
b) let me go, since my contract was up

We negotiated a deal I couldnt say no to,

250 minutes,
6pm evenings,
iphone value pack, which = (international texting, ringback, voicemail, call display,picture/video messaging, all unlimited) I got the mario bros theme as my ringback, its awsome.
6GB data

57$ for everything

the big seller for me was the international texting, I text the US all the time.

Guy also gave me one month free and I got a 50$ rebate on the phone, so I only paid 90 bucks for my 4S

6o4allmotor 05-22-2012 09:29 PM

I cant win with them they promise me something and do the opposite. even with a case number they keep saying sorry cant find it on your file cant wait to change companies.

I've lost all faith with rogers

Kilinim 05-28-2012 10:47 AM

I've been getting calls from a random 866 area code number for a long time now. Finally picked up and it's Rogers trying to re-sign me. Guy said its a new rule that all cancellations cost $12.50 only regardless of how long a person is into their contract. Never knew this. Can anyone verify?

noTirl 05-28-2012 11:17 AM

that seems unlikely because cant you just go into a store and buy a phone and cancel...

All the new contracts signed after Feb 2012 will be under the new cancellation rule. Which is 12.50 + the remaining balance on your phone.

So the guy is not lying, but he isnt telling you the whole story either.
