now thats fricken pimp. |
holy shit i can get tanked and not have to get up! nice! |
damn.. well aquillini had to do something. It's not like the incomplete team is anything impressive to lure fans to go watch the games at GM Place otherwise. |

all that bullshit aside. i was just standing around waiting for my coffee at thomas haas talking to someone about this very subject and how the rumor is sundin is going to sign in new york, and the rangers are going to trade us gomez (which we agreed was highly unlikely), HOWEVER, we started talking about teams that were over the cap, chicago came up, dude said "i stopped paying attention to chicago when they signed sopel for $2m... that guys a pylon" we laughed, i said "he's lucky he has a job" i turn around and willie mitchell and his wife and standing behind me, willie laughs and says "...hockey season never ends here, i love it!" |

sundin is waiting for the canucks to withdraw the offer so he can sign somewhere else without us getting mad at 'im...hehe |
^ exactly what bitches, I mean chicks, do when you ask them out ...seriously. |
Sundin is being Sundin, basically he doesn't give a fuck about any team and he's going to do what is best for Mats. I honestly don't have a problem with it since he's not under contract and he's played as long as he has and doesn't owe anyone anything. Really his only concern should be himself because if he decides he wants to play he'll have enough teams waiting to buck up no matter how long he takes so why not take his sweet time and make sure he makes the best decision? What it would be like to be a guy who has 100 million in the bank (reported) and another 14-20 million over the next two years sitting on the table to do something he loves depending on what team he signs with. IMO the money Vancouver offered really doesn't mean fuck all to the guy he already has more money then he and his kids could ever spend he's going to go to the best situation not the the place that offers him the most green. |
It's funny that that a lot of GMs are now blaming Sundin and his "indecision" as a roadblock to them making deals for other players such as Schneider. http://torontosun.com/Sports/Hockey/...84201-sun.html |
it's funny that i've been calling this sundin deal a roadblock since day 1 and everyone said "IF A GM WANTS TO MAKE A DEAL, THEY'LL MAKE A DEAL" i love it. |

If training camp starts and those trades are no longer there and he still hasn't made a decision then you have a roadblock. |
look at the big picture. this sundin news isnt new. every single person in the entire nhl knows about it. what's happened in the past 30 days, you ask? 30 days of conversations between GMs who are lining up deals and getting their ducks in a row. 30 days of GMs saying "gillis is in bed with his offer, call the next guy" or "gillis' plan a is sundin, we want to talk to someone who's serious" |

Wasn't it Yzerman the one that had some article about, when it's time to retire, you'll know it. It's not something to ponder about. It would be way too unclassy to call out on Sundin like that, but everyone knows that message was indirectly for Sundin. |
Well, Sakic is back for another year. Shit, he's gonna score a few more buzzer-beaters on us, which we'll then proceed to lose in OT or the shootout. Funny how he didn't cause a bunch of commotion like Sundin. Sakic >>> Sundin |

well the only reason why sakic's decision wasnt as big of a story is because sakic would only play for the avs or retire whereas sundin can play for pretty much 6 teams. that and its the toronto media. they'd print or post anything thats related to toronto |
i like how this debacle has changed everyones opinion on Sundin from him being respected as a great player and excellent leader who always believed in his team (no matter how bad they were) and one of the alltime greatest leafs... to an indecisive woman no one wants to see again or hear about. |
He's gone from one of the all-time great Leafs to one of the all-time great flakes :IDL |

http://forum.canucks.com/index.php?s...ic=208873&st=0 Looks like news from Team 1040 + Darren Dreger are saying that Sundin will retire (fucking finally you woman) and the Canucks will look to trade Bieksa for a defenseman and in turn acquire Schneider to fill in the void left by Bieksa. I can see the Bieksa trade happening but who the hell are we going to trade to Anaheim for Schneider? |
PLEASE not Schneider. |
