No comment about the D, but I don't think their G is all that weak. It would be interesting to see who is number 1 though as Koizig is one of those really intense goaltenders that want to play all 82 games in a season, while Smith didn't look too shabby when he got to play. He could have played more if it wasn't for the fact the number 1 goalie in Dallas was Turco.

ehhhh....Smith's numbers were pretty much shit since he came over to TB.....I think his numbers were highly inflated playing behind a top defense in Dallas

Why trade for a guy that's older and with less scoring talent? Sure, Shannon's small but he could break out. Do we need MORE d-men? Don't we have like 3 depth d-men already?

and Nycholat is signed to a one-way deal, maybe Nonis has a plan to ship out Bieska or one of our other D for a forward now that Sundin doesn't look likely.
