Yeah hes right. I bitched since it didnt track properly when you scroll a certain way. I think it was the rollers. So I asked and they said they had problems with the first batch of coloured balls. Then I requested a black ball and they sent it np and they paid for shipping ofcourse. Then the next ball is like the SAME thing and it has this dent on it and it wud totally screw up the tracking. I finally got the other black replacement today and its perfect. Identical to my buddys Curve ball with like the textured feel. I got my buddy his replacement purple ball too and its excellent. Just make sure when they ship you the ball its got a textured feel and not waxy. As for local sellers I saw some on craigslist but theyre charging rape amounts. Shippings only 5$ from CNN anyways, not too bad. Team up with your buddies and shippings still 5$. |

Can someone check their Bold to see if yours does the same thing as mine: Under Mobile Network Options ->Data Services If you turn that off (I'm trying to turn off data on my Berry), do you also lose your WiFi connection also? I'm trying to figure out a way where I can use my US SIM for US calling, and restrict data to only WiFi whenever I'm near a hotspot/WiFi access point. Right now on my BB, it appears to "turn off" WiFi when I turn data off so I can't use the browser, or get any emails while the data services are disabled. (the WiFi icon dims instead of stays lit when I turn off Data Services) Does it do the same for everyone else? |

I think the reason why emails and browser won't work only on wifi is it has to go through BB servers. With no data plan it can't access the servers. Try using a Opera Mini. I never got a chance to try it. |

Unless you unlocked it. Rogers might not warranty it then. |
New update... http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ilanguage.html |
that has been out a while ago and i've been running it for couple to several weeks now. it has just been released as an official OS by vodafone. best version so far. |
Just installed it, I don't see any major differences, but we'll see how it goes. I tend to use 3G fairly often, and have latitude running in the background. At the end of a long day I'm typically down to 40% or so. Battery life is pretty damned good considering the use I put it through. |
I'm finding that it handles app memory better and I have great battery life out of mine now. |
