hey guys, i've been using my bold since nov.
havent updated whatsoever..
but lately been receiving emails like 4-5 hours late, and no facebook updates at all... i deleted the service books already, and reset but no luck

running 4.6.0.162

try resending service books, and then a battery pull. if worse comes to worse, upgrade your os.

I can't seem to find the option to send service books, used to have that option after I logged in, at setup email account, but not anymore

wierd, it should still be there. after logging in, its all the way at the bottom as a link. if you can't find it there, google rogers + BIS. log into your account there and then resend service books from there.

i just the bold yesterday. Can anyone tell me what are first things I need to do to have my thing up to date? What firmware is best? Any apps/programs recommendations?

P.S. I am a first time Blackberry user.

for all your info, browse the crackberry.com forums. that would be your best bet.

BB browser sucks ass compared to the iPhone.

the native browser does lack a little. i find Bolt to be better, but it has its little quirks since its still in beta.

im kind of glad i got rid of my berry, i was turning into such a douchenipple with it.. always on it, texting, bbm'ing waiting for that god damn little red light to flash... with the iphone however, i get texts, but dont have a need to reply to them right away. i sometimes end up leaving my phone sitting upstairs in my room for hours on end without checking on it.

haha i know exactly what you mean. every 5 minutes i'm staring at the phone waiting for the blinking red light .......... :twirleye:

Well, my notification light no longer works after downloading .282. Not sure if it's coincidence or if the new update caused it. Doesn't work with my flashlight app, text, msm, gmail, etc. Is there an option to disable it? And is anyone else having this problem, or is it just my bold?

have you done a battery pull? the only other thing i can think of is permissions.

check if its in bedside mode

hey i got a bold a little over 3 months ago with a 3 year contract and the unlimited calling texting ect ended after three months. on my plan with the bold i chose the rogers to rogers/rogers to fido option and i was wodnering does that meen when i call or receive a call number from rogers or fido its free? anytime weekday weekends ect?

and it works across canada (never tried)
