the snow is supposed to turn to rain in the lower mainland. it's supposed to warm up later today.

snowing in coquitlam again. fuck you nature. i have no food left and my car is too low to get out.

i heard human can survive up to 48 hrs without food by watching porn..

if it's any consolation... i can get out, but i don't dare because if i leave me parking space/snow bunker out on the street, someone else will take it and i'll end up walking almost a block to find another place to park like i did a few days ago :flamemad:

it's okay we can survive for like 2 weeks without food. all you need is water. =D

yeah, no kidding. Just when it's melted a little bit of snow, along comes more snow to build up on what melted the previous day.

Its snowing like Crazy here in Fraser Heights. Fortunately I got my Yellow Fiero out from behind the house and out to street side parking before it got too deep to drive out from the alley. I have snow tires on all 4 corners of my car and my wife has studded tires on the back wtih mud/snow tires on the front. Here are the pics. These pics were taken Dec 24th, I don't have any more recent pics.

You can see a little black thing poking out the side of the car in the first pic, that is the mirror. The snow is right up to the side of the doors.

My 85GT V8 is just gone, its there under the snow, but WOW. Lisa's 85SE is behind my 85GT, my 87GT the only thing you can see is the underside of the spoiler.
My 87GT is completely buried as is Lisa's 86 V8 Fiero. I just got back from a 3hr drive out into the valley. Man the roads are crazy.

If anyone wants I have a few Video's of a few of us out playing around in empty parking lots. One of the guys brought out a newer 1/2 ton truck, 4wd and a 6L V8. If you think a Talon has fun, man you ain't seen nothing yet.

I usually shovel several times a day. This way, it can't accumulate too much and it's easier to remove (especially if it's wet snow).

I drove for a couple hours between 11-1 today in Vancouver on big streets and many side streets and it was fine. Had zero problems at all and if it matters I just drive a normal car with all seasons so I have no advantages.

You know...I used to love snow. Now it just fucking sucks.

Snowing fairly heavy around Guildford. I am at 104th Ave and 169th street. We have about 15cm of fresh snow since last night. I just got back from driving to Guildford mall and back. Main roads are pretty good, side streets are a bit interesting.

Begin short rant. Skip over if you don't want to read it.

The worst part is the dumb/idiot chicken poop drivers that are too scared to drive in it. I was heading east on 105th Ave, and this brown guy, is driving in the middle of the road, heading towards me doing like 20kph. He has 3/4 of a lane to the left and 3/4 of a lane to the right. However still insists on driving right down the center of the yellow. I kick on my headlights and head straight for him. I figure which is going to be more scared of a car coming head long at him, or driving a bit more in his lane to get out of my way. He chose to move over and let me by. I don't care what nationality you are. IF you are too scared to drive your car in the snow or ice, or just simply don't know how. CALL A CAB, STAY HOME, GET A FRIEND TO DRIVE YOU. Its the scared, guys doing dumb things that make the roads a nightmare in the snow. I drive a 2 seat, 2 wheel drive (rear drive) car sitting 2-3 inches off the ground, and I don't have an issue driving around in the snow. Heck most of the time i am still doing the speed limit or even a couple klicks above. Just don't slam on the brakes or the gas, don't jerk the steering wheel around and you will be fine. If you come into a corner too fast, it means you should have slowed down a long time ago. If you start to slide, steer into it and for gods sake, DON'T HAMMER THE BRAKES. If your tires are locked up, you don't have any control and you are just along for the ride. Keep a little throttle, and steer the car. Don't panic, don't freak out just Drive out of the skid.

Sorry to rant so much on this topic, I just don't understand some people and total lack of knowing how to drive.
