Luckily school starts tomorrow for me. Hopefully it'll rain some more before then. |
There was a BC Transit bus jack knifed at Broadway and Nootka this morning at 6am, blocking 1.5 lanes of traffic going west bound. |

90% of the drivers out there can't even driver properly during light rainfall after a long summer of sunny weather. That shows you how competent Vancouver drivers are. Before the big snowfall yesterday, I could drive 60km/hr no problem with what little bit of snow/slush was on the ground and stop properly without skidding (even somewhat abrupt stops). I have all seasons, rwd, and a light car. Most people were going 30-40km on both lanes. Why? Why would you want to block traffic like that? Fucking morons. If you want to drive slow, stick to the right lane and let me pass your turtle ass. All that being said, because of the recent snowfall, I won't be driving to save myself grief of getting stuck and all the other aliments of driving in this sort of weather with a light rwd car on all seasons. However, as soon as the snow clears some, I'll be driving again and passing slow motherfuckers left, right, and centre. |
SFU Burnaby and Douglas College are closed today! |
damn bcit is opened up sucks so bad my instructor is stuck in the snow haha and not even here yet bus coming to bcit sucks... got stuck 3 times and the worst was on boundary not even half the class is here why can't it be closed |

anyone at the surrey sfu?? |
My Rant this morning. Drop my son off at daycare and am waiting at light 3 cars back. Jackass is not on sensor so we sit there 5 minutes until finally I get pissed and decide I'm going to get out of my warm truck press crosswalk button. I get out wade through knee high snow on sidewalk and push button. Running back to my truck I trip like a flailing tard and land on road which is covered in slush and water. I cut and scraped both palms of my hands, scraped skin off both knees so the blood pouring out is causing pants to stick to me. Ripped my jeans and soaked my jacket, shirt under jacket, pants and even my underwear. Again I look like a fucking retard to everyone else waiting at light, stumble my way back to truck and pull a Uturn because now I have to go home and change. Home is like a 30 minute drive the other direction for an extra punch in the balls. Coming home I almost hit the retard who parks his car right at the apex of the turn when coming around the corner of the alley which leads me into a rant.... Fucktard who is blocking alley has actually managed to single handedly stop the whole blocks garbage collection since Mid December because where he parks is stopping the Garbage truck from being able to come around corner and service my alley. They came Saturday my buddy two blocks over had his picked up but since the truck cannot get around the corner with him parked there they just bypass my alley. So anyway, go home and shower and change stopping to write a dear fucktard signed concerned neighbor letter which delayed me even more. So Here I am an hour and a half late for work, still bleeding through band aids and pissed off. Worst of all it's only Monday............. |
just wondering... how are the surrey roads? |

lol no idea why they even thought about opening schools today..... SFU... bastards are lucky no school lol |
made it to work today. i getr here and need an hour of shovelling ice and slush to get into lot. i watched in amusement as truck after semi truck go stuck on the hills. some tool tried to get by an obviously stuck truck. first he got out cursed at the driver got back in then proceeded to try to ply his way around the front of the 5 ton truck. promptly getting his dumb ass stuck in a snow drift. the 5 ton eventually got out. our impatient hero is still stuck in a pile of snow HAHAHA! |
SFU Surrey is open I'm in class. |
I had a pretty good day driving in the snow. Helped out two neighbours dig their cars out, five others who were stuck on the roads. Put a lot of smiles on some faces. In one incident, there was a line up of twenty plus cars because of a car stuck in snow. Nobody gets out to help. They rather sit there and wait. I'm heading in the other direction, so I park the truck on the side of the road and start pushing. I yell at a few others coming up the other side of the road and they decide to help. I got home without a scrape or a dent. "It's better to light a candle than curse the darkness." |
