DavidNguyen 12-08-2011 09:59 PM

Any of u guys have a screen protector for this? I bought the "Tru" brand. And I got air bubbles and it won't go away.
It was so hard to avoid the bubbles when applying.
Wish I got the invisible shield instead. Oooo wellll.

there are ways to remove air bubbles from screen protector while you are applying or even after you applied them. there's always bound to be dust when you try to apply a screen protector. so you prolly should either look up how to remove dust/air bubble or just get someone to install for u

Simplex123 12-09-2011 10:39 AM

get a piece of tape (about 2 inches), roll it up (sticky side out) and just tape the dust.

Yes to both, some apps do not work but for the ones that do , it is a plus.

Simplex123 12-09-2011 10:54 AM

^What happens if an app doesn't work? It just doesn't install or what?
Are there alternate media players that work with the PB?

Firmware 12-09-2011 11:05 AM

Nothing, just give error then you close it.

Its like if you had the andriod OS on.

Yeh there are media players but havent played with that yet.

invisble shield are crap. I got the ishieldz one, oil and scratch resistance. You can get it from any Vision store. I have them both on my 9900 and the bb, its awesome. Lifetime warranty, if yours are scratched, they'll send a replacement for free.

Installing screen protector are VERY easy if you have the rubbing alcohol spray because you can touch the sticky side of the protector after spraying the alcohol on it.

I bought one extra can sell at cost. Or I can show you how to install it.

Does the playbook only ship with the usb charger? Will a generic USB/AC adaptor work with the playbook, or do I need to buy one specific for the playbook? Haven't received my playbook yet and there is a sale on a charger set, not sure if I need one or not. I have a USB/AC adaptor charger for another device (bluetooth motorcycle headset)

Vansterdam 12-10-2011 04:45 PM

comes with a charger ( not usb) and also a usb cable

Nlkko 12-10-2011 05:44 PM

You dont need those rapid charger unless you're on it 24/7. The stock charger is fine, it charges up pretty quickly.

The generic USB charger doesnt have enough juice and wont be able to charge it up. Same goes for plugging in to a computer.

If you take it on road trip then buy a AC/DC converter for your car and use the stock charger.

I love the rapid charger that i got with the playbook.

It can charge my berry within an hour from empty to full.

terkan 12-11-2011 05:44 AM

lol my dog chewed up my ac adapter.. called blackberry.. sent me back a rapid charger instead.. nice gift from them for xmas ~ i'm still using my dad's charger though.. it's more convenient
