I use the SGP Ultra Capsule

Good protection, not bulky. I like it

muteki 10-05-2011 10:40 AM

I bought one of these in Hong Kong. Its a good case but its a bit slippery for my liking.

I've been using my case mate pop for quite some time now, good protection and grip, and with the phone being so thin there isnt too much added bulk

Shoei@BJAutohaus 10-05-2011 11:33 AM

cant complain, had my phone for a month now, love the infuse 4g, bloody huge phone! its like a mini tablet!

JayEch 10-05-2011 01:40 PM

what kind of IM apps do you guys use. The stock one on the gs2 sucks ass. so many bugs and glitches

!MiKrofT 10-05-2011 01:49 PM

Trillian is what I use. Supports Google C2DM push so saves battery.

Armind 10-05-2011 02:43 PM

Barely there case sucks ass, after taking the case on and off a few times.. the edges chipped off and cracks were made.

Weird. This is my 3rd barely there case and I still haven't had any problems. On my old HTC I actually dropped it on a the floor and the only damage was a small nick in the corner of the case.

I have a bad habit of playing around with my case and I've taken it on/off 10+ times with no problem, I think you might have just gotten a lemon :S

Armind 10-05-2011 06:27 PM

:okay:

muteki 10-05-2011 06:38 PM

^ saw a lot of reviews that it's flimsy on some site, so it's not uncommon for it to happen I guess. =S

Start. G+ group. Dunno if there's a user limit for that.

Galaxy S2 disappointed me. It really came down to one thing - screen resolution. I know the screen is huge, but the pixel banding and messy gradient effects on widgets drove me nuts. Was much more satisfied with the retina display even though it was smaller.
Yes its extremely powerful, but I don't play games or do any CPU intensive stuff anyways so that wasn't a big selling point for me.

I'm sure these kinds of comments are all over the place in the previous 64 pages but thought I'd drop in my opinion and see if anyone agrees

striderblade 10-06-2011 01:16 AM

^ that's like saying yo check out my Ferrari. It fucking suck cause I choose not to drive over 30km/h. What a slow piece of shit. You might as well stick with a hmmm I don't know a Motorola razer. Since it still do all the basic stuff you need.

^ Haha, well the CPU is fine, but the resolution is terrible. I've had tinier screens with better resolutions years ago, so that is a major disappointment.

!MiKrofT 10-06-2011 09:00 AM

I don't really notice those issues that you mention with the screen. However most users prefer the amoled plus screen over the retina because of the awesome contrast and colours even though the resolution is different.

Screen resolution was the only reason (ok, and all the plastic) I sold the phone.
Got spoiled by iPhone 4's high res screen and now lower res screens really get me.
But there is a hope with Nexus Prime with 720p screen and metal body :eek5x:

parm104 10-06-2011 09:54 AM

Although on paper, the resolution is worse on the SGS2 than on the iPhone 4...I haven't noticed a difference in quality in the screen as far as pixels go. A lot of it depends on whether you are using a high resolution wallpaper that is meant for that phone or not. Using the original theme and fonts, with the right wallpaper, the SGS2 looks crisp as retina but with a lot more depth and color.

Once I got used to a 4.3" screen, the screen on the iPhone 4 just looked like it was out-dated. It's hard when I switch back to it (that's what she said.)
