Start. G+ group. Dunno if there's a user limit for that. |
Galaxy S2 disappointed me. It really came down to one thing - screen resolution. I know the screen is huge, but the pixel banding and messy gradient effects on widgets drove me nuts. Was much more satisfied with the retina display even though it was smaller. Yes its extremely powerful, but I don't play games or do any CPU intensive stuff anyways so that wasn't a big selling point for me. I'm sure these kinds of comments are all over the place in the previous 64 pages but thought I'd drop in my opinion and see if anyone agrees |
^ that's like saying yo check out my Ferrari. It fucking suck cause I choose not to drive over 30km/h. What a slow piece of shit. You might as well stick with a hmmm I don't know a Motorola razer. Since it still do all the basic stuff you need. Posted via RS Mobile |
^ Haha, well the CPU is fine, but the resolution is terrible. I've had tinier screens with better resolutions years ago, so that is a major disappointment. |
I don't really notice those issues that you mention with the screen. However most users prefer the amoled plus screen over the retina because of the awesome contrast and colours even though the resolution is different. Posted via RS Mobile |
Screen resolution was the only reason (ok, and all the plastic) I sold the phone. Got spoiled by iPhone 4's high res screen and now lower res screens really get me. But there is a hope with Nexus Prime with 720p screen and metal body :eek5x: |
Although on paper, the resolution is worse on the SGS2 than on the iPhone 4...I haven't noticed a difference in quality in the screen as far as pixels go. A lot of it depends on whether you are using a high resolution wallpaper that is meant for that phone or not. Using the original theme and fonts, with the right wallpaper, the SGS2 looks crisp as retina but with a lot more depth and color. Once I got used to a 4.3" screen, the screen on the iPhone 4 just looked like it was out-dated. It's hard when I switch back to it (that's what she said.) |
