MiKrofT, what is it about Villain Rom that you like? I have tried it out twice now (both different versions) and I found it to be underwhelming and plain. Not plain enough to be a Vanilla but FAR from a Rom packed with apps and programs.

Is it that you don't like the extra bloatware that Samsung adds on; because other than that, I really don't see the hype about over this rom!

Any way to make the camera portrait as default settings? Hate having to put rotate screen on auto each time i have to use the camera.

Can Galaxy S 2 people please chime in here...The iOS4/iPhone 4S features have basically now become AT FAR with what Android has been doing for years now...

Agreed! But the problem with "catching up" to a device that was released say 8 months ago, is that that device will be ahead of you again within weeks maybe a month! With the release of Ice Cream Sandwich, we're going to see MORE feature and tweaks and power to our devices bringing us ahead again.

Shouldn't the goal be to gain a lead and not to simply "catch up?"

This is what I did: (Phone must be rooted)

-download root explorer
-navigate to directory where camera sound files are stored (google this)
-Then just rename the .ogg files

AND they'll also claim its better than every phone thats on the market

I liked the curved design of the nexus s, but for me it made applying screen pros harder and removing it from the case I had more difficult as well
