Dude, read through the forum..It's threaded for a reason so people can see the history...This has been asked OVER and OVER again...Just go to XDA, find one that has 5 stars and then see what features catch your interest. Then read up on the comments to see if people are saying +/- things about it...

I want to download CM7 too but most of the comments are from people claiming that it has so many flaws...I'll probably give it a try after seeing a few screen shots/videos.

Can try MIUI for something "different".

Looking through this thread with my Nexus S makes me really want an SGSII, especially after I hunted for a Koodo one at launch for days on end. Must wait for Prime :cry:

Yeah just wait for Prime lol. Supposedy announce before the end of month and released at the beginning of november. However it's most likely gonna be a verizon exclusive for awhile.

Only problems in CM7 so far for me, can't play avi files with video app, can't tap to focus in camera, and radio doesn't work. Everything else works great.

However, my phone still crashes an average of 3 times a day, even when i was in VR. :( undervolting is not meant for me.

In all honesty, I don't think the Prime is going to be available through a Canadian carrier. If it does, it won't be till next year. This is just how things have trended with these companies. History will repeat itself and there is NO reason why we should think that we will receive the Prime.

We received the Galaxy SII before the Americans, we certainly won't be getting yet another phone before them lol. The Nexus One was only available through U.S. until Wind got a hold of it, the Nexus S was only available through the U.S. until about 6 months later...and the Nexus Prime will be the same.

It'll be available. It's just a matter of when. But yes it probably won't be till next year with past trends of Nexus releases. Which is good as I'll be able to get a cheap prime when it comes time to renew my contract lol.

I find that with VR3.0 I have to undervolt less. I'm around 50mv undervolt and so far so good.

You dont necessarily need to use !Mikroft's settings (not saying theres anything wrong with them) but I've undervolted a little bit more than him and mine's still buttery smooth. Just play around with the numbers a bit.

For my main I underclocked down to 1000max and 200min, set my scaling to "conservative"

I don't bother with the other settings since it works fine the way it is. I stick with OnDemand the default governor as that what's the kernel developer recommended lol. I don't bother limiting to 1ghz either since I rarely hit 1.2ghz.

Can anyone rename the SD card? Shows up as emmc on phone.
