There is a thread that has a ton of apps...It's really subjective to what you do on your phone.

Things like Key Ring (scans all your cards that have barcodes on them to your phone like your gym card, save-on, scene card etc.), weather apps and games are based on what kind of person you are.

Go through the thread, youtube or google the apps and see if you'd like them.

you should be asking yourself if you should upgrade to the iphone 4s or the nexus prime, since they are both current products.

if you've tried an iphone i recommend trying android and vice versa.

I'm the newb to this. I have hella lot of friends with the iphone 4 and they always let me try it out and see how it is, however I never had the chance to use it long term. I use a blackberry, and I was planning to upgrade to a data plan really soon so its the battle between android or apple, whichever one has the best on the market so far, until someone recommended me the nexus instead of the galaxy

What?

He probably just has the email/BBM package on his plan.

And he was probably recommended nexus prime because of ice cream sandwich on it.

you dont need to be in the know to realize iphone 4s is coming out this year, not iphone 5

you also got flamed because you didn't look into it at all, apple vs android is quite different and a quick overview from google before you asked about here would have been appropriate.

How does this phone stack up against the Samsung galaxy 2??

So far I went through most of this thread and seems like most people are anticipating the release of the phone.

The larger and super high res screen will be a big feature. Also being a Nexus phone you will always have the latest OS updates directly from Google. I believe the housing has metal as well if that's a feature or not.

No one knows for sure what it's going to be like right now. So no one can say also how it will stack up against the SGS2.

The larger and larger screen sizes is getting kind of silly though. My pants pockets are only so big...

If they narrow the bezel it might be OK. I don't even notice the 4.3 on the sgs2 anymore.

I agree with this. Sure a large screen is great, but if the screen is too big you're always gonna need 2 hands to operate your phone
