Doesn't matter, but I say 2 plates so I have a better chance to win the middle weight class :troll: (granted that red_sir's practice attempt didn't count) |

Like Sid said, sheiko is perfect! 3x a week so you don't get squat withdrawal but lower intensity than smolov so you don't burn out in the long run. |

Well, went to see a doc today and my worst fears were true - far lateral disc herniation between L4 and L5...:okay: Looks like I am out at least till May (so the doc says).:okay: This is a preliminary diagnostic as I yet have to get an x-ray/MRI done... Honestly, this blows. I was making steady progress, completed Smolov and two weeks of Sheiko 37 and everything was fine, but decided to sit on a rock at the beach and enjoy the sun/read and got a disc herniation?:fulloffuck: Here is my plan of attack for the next month: - Reduce my weight as much as I can (I hate doing this, but I am going to reduce my carbs significantly, especially since I'm barely active at the moment) - Start doing rehab TODAY! - Once I feel like I can get back into the gym, I'll start Madcow 5x5 and go back to the basics trying to build my strength back up. Question for you fellas, if I am going to cut down on carbs, should I aim for staying under 50 grams per day? Is that correct? |
that's pretty low Posted via RS Mobile |
