I use the incline bench, you ask "how many sets" I got left.

I use the flat bench you guys JUST used before asking me about the incline bench and now you ask me again "how many sets"

I use the cables, you PHAGGOTS ASK "HOW MANY SETS".

I told em four, and he replied FOUR?!

you go to the gym to make gains, stop being a wuss. Everyone have to start somewhere.

No shame, I used to be really weak but I have gained 20lbs since summer, now I am sitting at 145lbs. Still making gains at the gym. Working out is based on your mentality. If have a weak mentality, your not going to make any progress. You have to be dedicated and hardworking to make your gains.

no dude, im actually not that weak, ive been training for almst 2 years now, can bench 185. i just like doing the pendlay rows in high repititions. u need a full sized plate to do them but my pulling strength isnt good enoguh to pull 135 10+ times

Fcukedd 01-07-2013 03:41 PM

work with what you have. doing bent over barbell rows instead of pendlays won't make a worlds difference.

anyways, gym time. coming from vancouver to sport central is going to suck ass on knight street bridge.

dn53 01-07-2013 05:01 PM

Its not that bad actually. Leaving richmond at rushhour on the knight street bridge-- good luck :lol

Just because you started using the equipment, it doesn't mean it is yours until you are done all your sets. It's called "working in". It is called etiquette. Ever been on the other end of waiting for someone to finish 5 sets, while they take 5 min breaks hogging equipment?

J.C 01-07-2013 05:43 PM

just got back
got a video of my last set of squats, but not worthy of posting, not until 3 plates :P
didn't get one of deadlifts, WAY too many people, but among the influx of new year revolutionists came many cute girls :fuckyea:, but just as many fat girls

anyone here ever do yoga? they have it at my gym for free and i was planning to do it during my deload next week, but i have never done it before and i don't know anything about it lol

blkgsr 01-07-2013 05:47 PM

with a good instructor/class it's a lot harder than you think, definetly try it out

GFitTrain 01-07-2013 07:09 PM

Knight street bridge is a hit and miss sometimes.

JACKED 01-07-2013 07:17 PM

Fuck still in search of a new gym. Anyone know a good cheap gym with AT LEAST 3 benches and 3 squat racks? I guess cheap to me is $30 or under. Tired of waiting around all day for the bench or squat rack and then feeling rushed when 5 guys are mean mugging me while I'm resting.

Club 16 looks promising. How many benches do they have and how busy is the downtown location? I'm assuming it's a clusterfuk especially at its low price. I'd go Steve Nash but I despise the idea of "negotiable" contracts and everyone's paying a different price. Fuck you.

Don't go to Nash I used to train there. Every member pays a different price. Sportscentral is good and cheap.
