not that many dudes showed up was really just my buddy and me but we still did a ton of bench

2 points about my set that you'll see once posted. First the weight shocked me on my first 2 pulls. I should have been more explosive out of the gates. yeah I def agree with what you noted. Added explosiveness in the first few reps will really get the momentum going and the slow/controlled eccentric is definitely a big compromise to back-health, not to mention extremely risky and fatal especially with 405. You for sure have at least 6-8 more reps on you. Would be nice if you could go at it again. Solid lift regardless!

I wouldn't even deadlift there (or go there at all) if the gym owner wants the atmosphere to reflect that of a ballet studio

I am going to jinx myself by saying this but no I don't do rotator cuff to warm up just light bench
I actually think I have a minor pec tear in my left just under my armpit but Yolo right

tried something that i was scared of doing before, and turned out okay
new db flat bench pr LOL
80lbs x 6 reps @ 131lbs
first & last reps were the hardest

nothing to you guys lol :okay: but still an achievement for me :wooha:

my last week of 3x3s

squat: 325 with 3x3
bench: 285 with 3x3
deadlift : 375 with 3x3

im gonna be fasting next week for ramadan and i have to resort to a 5x3x1 program to keeps my workouts short


hopefully the the fasting wont hinder my progress too severely. i needs ur motivation to get stronger guiz :tears:

Did squats today with a belt for the first time.
Hit dem 295 x 5, 315 x 5, 320 x 4, 325 x 3. No video doh, will post when i hit 4 plate.
