I'm not sure about BF% since the online calculators vary quite a bit. I'm 5'8, 29-30" waist, 155 lbs if that helps.

yup, my point exactly. I personally would stick to whatever your caloric maintenance might be, try to restrict your fructose as much as you can, and go ham at the gym.

Even though you're not sure what your bodyfat % is - regardless, 155 lbs at 5'8 is way too light to be going on a cut, unless you are trying to go for that swimmer-esque look.

Voted for chest press 1RM lol

Haven't been posting much but still lifting 4 times per week plus biking to work 45 min in 1hr home over here in Victoria.

J.C 06-19-2013 08:19 PM

looks like the challenge is going to be deadlift related

So how exactly does the challenge work? I haven't been on here long enough.

If the deadlift for reps has the most votes then the challenge will be something like how many times you can rep out 2x your body weight on deadlifts

The poll is now closed, thanks for voting guys!

I was thinking we would stick to something similar to what we did in our 1st RS challenge - have categories, and each category would lift the same amount of weight for reps.

Category 1: Under 160 lbs, deadlift 225 lbs for reps

Category 2: 160 lbs - 200 lbs, deadlift 315 lbs for reps

Category 3: Over 200 lbs, deadlift 405 lbs for reps

This would probably be a lot easier to keep track of because I'm sure there are some that are unable to do 2x bodyweight for a single rep even, so this will be a true test of muscular endurance/who can withstand the most pain.

So far, I'm going to stick with these rules, but may add more as we go:

-video must show your entire body and the weight you are lifting
-you must include in your title or description - your weight, category, and reps you completed
-no knee wraps, but knee sleeves are acceptable
-no straps
-belt is allowed
-chalk is allowed
-as long as each rep is completed from the ground to lockout, do it with whatever form you like: sumo, conventional, etc. Break your back with shitty form for all I care
-you may pause for 1-2 seconds in the starting position if need be for 3 times, but your hand must be on the bar at all times, and you must be in the starting position.

Yeah you can bounce. We didn't do paused bench reps last time, so I guess we can stick to the same this time through again

hx2gls 06-20-2013 12:51 PM

That feel when you know people from the bench challenged repped more with 225 than I will for the deadlift challenge

J.C 06-20-2013 01:48 PM

im bringing in a surprise challenger for this one

Fcukedd 06-20-2013 03:27 PM

LOL yes I'm under 160lb :fuckthatshit:

Suprarz666 06-20-2013 04:31 PM

well this challenge is bad timing for me :fuuuuu: lol

BinsentoW 06-20-2013 04:40 PM

Damn, with bounce and they started locking up the bumper plates at SC :(

Matlock 06-20-2013 04:54 PM

Hmm.. My back is pretty damn injured from work, but maybe I can lose 3 lbs and get in the category 2. :D
Duck stance, no belt.

TouringTeg 06-20-2013 05:14 PM

Sounds good instant. I usually to DL 225 for reps and then 2 or singles after that. Can do 365 or so so hopefully I can knock out a few reps of 315 (weight 185lb)
