Deadlift king right there. |

Some absolutely beastly vid's getting posted. Hoping to power out 15 this week. The most i've ever done is 9, so it might be a stretch. Unfortunately the "No dropping weights" rule is going to impede my attempt, but at least it will be controlled :p Good job guys. |
Tired to deadlift 405 today. I did it. :alone: |
seeing you guys doing 315 so quick and effortlessly makes me want to quit lifting.. when I do 315 its shake city for 2 reps :yuno: |

Holy f!!! 405x3 dead lift!!!! I'm so pumped I couldn't even get home to post this haha. Previous best was last week at 365x5. That first time lifting four plates off the ground. Ohh yeah! Posted via RS Mobile |
IMPRESSIVE BOYS! im only at 315 for 3 and its shaky at best. hoping for 315 for 5 monday. |
dropped that bar at the end like zero fucks given. that's intense i barely have the grip strength to do 205x3 |
Inb4 injuries from deadlifting :troll: Posted via RS Mobile |
finally hit bodyweight bench press :D 135x3 currently weight at 127~128 Posted via RS Mobile |
The reps you guys are pulling for the DL challenge is insane. Weighed myself today at 163 and it looks like I fall into the 315 DL category. Haven't pulled that in awhile but I can probably hit 2-3 reps haha. On a side note, hit 4x205 then 2x215 today with my bench :) |

Back awhile ago, I had about a 20lb difference when I transitioned from dumbbell to barbell... Shortly after that though, my numbers on the barbell skyrocketed because doing dumbbell work has such a good carry-over |

If deadlifts are extremely lagging like me, you can try doing them twice a week, in which case, maybe tone down on the speed pulls a little. You can try doing sid vicious's program too which is included in the sticky. I believe he has you doing 2 heavy doubles followed by 1x8+ at a lower intensity for your last set. Don't be afraid to really push yourself during the assistances.. I find that really focussing on them have really allowed me to overcome any sticky points/technical problems when i'm doing the deadlift |
