I was working legs today doing squats on the Smith Machine. Let me know if you get a chance to try it. I found that it was awkwardly position incorrectly. Either the floor its on is slanted towards the mirror or slanted slightly on the left side. Kinda bugged me.

A ton of brown people (I was expecting a ton of hongers), but surprisingly they weren't the douchebag ones. Al though I did encounter one guy chatting it up with everyone. Can't complain with a gym this dead though.

Really enjoyed my workout there.

Golds is just way TOO busy now.

do u do squats on the smith machine ?

great workout today, just did bis and tris
just hammered through shit, supersetting my supersets keeping the pump going
walked over to the scale expecting the usual 168 bullshit

bcedhk 01-08-2011 08:08 PM

whats the side effects of taking superpump or related products? I tried a trial version, it does seem to work better, like i can do supersets a lot easier , but i feel so drained and shitty after my workout.

The_Situation 01-08-2011 08:18 PM

Matlock 01-08-2011 09:32 PM

Haven't gymmed in a month :(

sick > busy with family + gf + christmas + new years + learning to drive standard > back to work > sick again!!

I'm not looking forward to seeing golds overcrowded with "new years resolutionists"

depending on how close to bed i take it, and what i eat around when i take it
i will sometimes not sleep till like 3am, i ALways take a huge shit right before i walk out the door to the gym, i also get gas

But

i play xbox better for the half hour between taking it and gym time
if i have an exhausting day at work, one scoop puts me back into the "LETS GO LIFT SOME SHIT!!!1" mode
i superset my supersets with supersets and i can do that for pretty much the entire time i am in the gym
and i seem to get more vascular when im on it than not

i don't use the smith. nothing against anyone that does. one of the things i rely on lifting for is being less injury prone. i need to work my stabilizers. i'll try to look at the floor for you though.

i do think it's weird that they are missing the pins for the squat rack. it not like those things break. i'm too new so i don't know who to ask. but they should be somewhere. i'm still trying to figure out where everything is.

RRxtar 01-09-2011 12:21 AM

for me, i take it because quite often after a day of hard work the last thing i want to do is get off the couch. 30 mins after drinking my superdump in ready to fuckin go

RAYClovis 01-09-2011 12:31 AM

Started at SportsCentral today. Gotta say yeah, it's halfway dead considering that I was going at 5pm~ish. There were enough people there that I didn't feel lonely but not so many that I had to wait for anything other than looking around for the lighter dumbbells at the bench area before noticing the area with lighter dumbbells. I'm still making up a new workout program for this season and the new gym, since compared to the community gym I worked out at, there's definitely a lot more options and a lot closer to me too.

Though I wonder how are the MA classes there? I plan to take a complimentary class later on.

does anyone use pre workout supplements? what effects does it have on you guys?

i tried jack3d for the first time yesterday.... didnt feel that much different =/ felt the jitters about 1.5 hrs after though

BlackV62K2 01-09-2011 01:01 AM

How much sp250 are you guys taking for it to give you the shits? I usually do 1.5 scoops and I'm fine. I'm 210lbs if that matters.

I bought a 10 day pass for $10 a few months back, and when I heard about the 1 year deal, I jumped on it.
I like the 24 hour part of it. I usually workout starting at 11-12 midnight and theres like 10 people there max.
Just did 3 reps of 225 on bench, so happy.

Tons of testimonials of many kinds of pre-workout supplements.

Go back a dozen or so pages.

We seriously need some stickies on pre-workouts, post-workouts, etc.

Although Skinnypupp annoys me, where the hell has he been? I actually miss reading his posts lol.

chin3se604 01-09-2011 11:22 AM

thanks

while on it... i didnt feel the pump like most people do

i was a little bit more determined to finish my set though.. but didnt know if it was the supplement or the placebo doing it to me

strykn 01-09-2011 12:43 PM

DC5-S 01-09-2011 12:55 PM
