wtf such shitty workout the past 2 days, I don't think I rested enough from my heavy weekend workout.

I got a decent pump and pushed out some good sets, but it wasn't as heavy as I lifted on the weekend. Especially my military press, pissing me off.

I added 10lbs to my squat today. I remember there were days after my legs workout where I just fall onto the toilet when I try to sit down to take a shit haha. Walking up/down the stairs is quite a task too.

people at golds have such bad squat formation

Don't get too hung up on the amount of weight you're pushing. The most important thing is that you're getting a useful workout with good form, and you're eating properly

Checked out Physical gym in MK. 60,000 feet, 58,000 of which is wasted on stupid cardio machines. The free weight area is smaller than my apartment. FUUUUUUUU

What is your total 3 if u don't mind me asking ? I take it deadlift number one , I have a solid 2 lol hate squats
My old numbers:

375, 335, 265 (but that is touch and go bench- not pause.) Will test my max bench at the end of the cycle. Been going heavy on my tris and lats. I hate bench. Much prefer the military press. I'm raw.

why old numbers, are your new numbers worse ?

Upped my decline by 10lbs today and I'm still feeling fatigued hours later. Love it. My sport-specific program has me doing decline and incline bench but never any flat bench. Is decline supposed to be easier than flat? Like should I be able to pump the same weight on flat that I can do with decline?

hal0g0dv2 08-19-2010 05:45 PM

delcine is a much shorter distance, and yeah you should be able to the same weight and reps with flat

never have. what about working out/bodybuilding causes it?

Straining yourself can cause it, especially when doing heavy squats or any heavy lifting.

I peak every comp. Those numbers aren't exactly 'old' in the sense that you may know it. Old means, last comp or last cycle for me. I normally break PR's a week prior.

I know for a fact that my squat will increase as I have always experienced about a 50lb carryover from my cambered bar squat to my regular squat. Made some good gains in my max cambered bar squat as well as the safety bar squat.

Will update my total after Western Canadians.

Oh noes! Forgot to bring more oatmeal to work for breakfast! How will I get my calorieezz?

Meowjin 08-20-2010 08:18 AM

There's really nothing you can do with stretch marks. They actually do go away though. At least for me they did.

Those fat gripz are hella hard to use! Although I love them for the bench.

!Yaminashi 08-20-2010 02:02 PM

I dont wanna sound noob, but what does "deload" mean?
Drop down the weight you're lifting a bit?
