Ironic, considering who is asking the question...

really?

i used to get pains in my forearm and still do a lil bit when i do curls n stuff but i realized the reason was at the top of the movement i would bend my wrists putting alot of stress on my forearms. Make sure you dont bend your wrists at the top even if it looks Like your not doing it fully, you still are.

Klutch 04-01-2011 11:32 AM

just make sure your wrists are 100% straight

Are you sure you guys dont have tendonitis? I used to get sharp pains in my forearms + wrists. Started taking glucosamine and it went away

hal0g0dv2 04-01-2011 12:40 PM

hey guys if u are wondering why you are getting pains in your forearms when curling its from your forearms can not handle the load of the weight and they are not as strong as your biceps are arms and shoulders, so they are giving out first thing. try working out your forearms more and you should have no problem. i never get that kind of pain ever when doing curls in the squat rack

RRxtar 04-01-2011 12:47 PM

but do you do wrist curls in the squat rack with straps, chalk, and a belt and your shoes off?

nguyen 04-01-2011 01:18 PM

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for the responses rrxtar and skinny pup, sorry I created a bit of an argument :p

Gonna work in a quick chest workout today and take a well deserved break :) todays my last day of dumbbells only, then I go back to my beloved bench press <3 .. but holy fuck, lifting to max puts one hell of a strain on your body. I've never felt the burn from deadlifting as bad as I am today (it's good pain .. i learned the difference between borderline injury and good burn awhile ago lol) .. but it feels damn good.

Spring just barely started, and I've already hit one of my goals that I wanted to hit before the start of summer. Shit feels awesome.
