it wasnt perfect, but roughly this is what i came up with:

Cals 4584 Fat 142 g Cholesterol 763 mg Sodium 4194 mg Carbs 394 g Sugars 72 g Fiber 41 g Protein 311 g

DC5-S 05-13-2010 06:18 PM

wow dude thats a shit ton of calories, how much do you weigh?

SkinnyPupp 05-13-2010 08:20 PM

IMO if your protein shake makes you shit or fart a lot, find a new protein shake next time.

Reverse your carbs and fat stats, and you'll start gaining good weight. Your 'overall' weight may go down though, as you will shed some water after a few days. You'll need to lower protein to keep calories in check too.

Sounds crazy? Try it first ;)

RRxtar 05-13-2010 09:09 PM

i was actually looking forward to your reply and am open to suggestions.

ive been working on not so much lowering but 'improving' my carb intake. basically, the highest GI 'food' that i eat is a banana. breads/bagels are all 12 grain. long grain brown or wild rice. no potatos. whole wheat pasta. i eat alot of fruit tho.

SkinnyPupp 05-13-2010 09:54 PM

long/wild/whole/12/etc

grains are still grains

Fat will keep you fuller longer, no insulin spike, lots of calories.. Well at the very least I think you should give it a shot... You can switch back if you don't like it after a month ;)

hal0g0dv2 05-13-2010 10:10 PM

sometimes i just eat peanut butter out of the jar

SkinnyPupp 05-13-2010 10:12 PM

Yup, try other nut butters too. And coconut milk should be a staple of any diet, weight loss or weight gain.

yeah i go threw like a can of that a day pretty much , coconut milk

waddy41 05-14-2010 12:28 AM

Canned coconut milk isn't the healthiest..

Have you guys tried buying WHOLE coconuts and drinking the water and eating the meat?

I've been doing that do the last few months...i go through min. 2 coconuts a week..

ws6ta 05-14-2010 12:45 AM

isn't there a lot of saturated fat in coconut milk?

waddy41 05-14-2010 12:52 AM

YES but saturated fat is not bad for you

however, if you're scared, you can get the reduced fat version...

You're referring to young coconut juice, where the sugar is still in the water, and most of the fat hasn't come out yet. It's delicious and healthy, but not quite the same thing.

Yes, that's the point.

That would be a horrible idea. Let's take the best food ever grown on this planet, and replace the best part of it with water and other crap? Terrible... Just don't drink it if you ignorantly think it's bad for you. That would be better overall.

waddy41 05-14-2010 02:23 AM

No I'm not drinking/eating young coconuts

this is my actual pic

The point is to have a lot of saturated fat? Isn't saturated fat what causes problems like cholesterol?

^ no....there is dietary cholesterol and cholesterol is created by the body

eating junk (vege) oils/sugar = damaged arteries = high cholesterol
The cholesterol is there like a bandage to patch up damaged arteries

This is the biggest misconception:
Eating saturated fat = fat molecules going into your bloodstream and clogging up your arteries
This is simply wrong

Well I was banned for a week for an obvious joke. Some of the mods have been trying to get rid of me for a while though. I might get banned again though since I just sent the mod that banned me a nasty pm... lol

I hit 200 this week though! Pretty excited about that... lol

SkinnyPupp 05-14-2010 08:00 PM

Just keep it in PM, I don't think you could be banned for that.
