hahahah no... just us (me) asians seem to be less sensitive to carbs being our ancestors ate so much rice and all

if your pushing it pretty hard with the weights then cutting down on carbs might be the reason why it you feel less energy... might need to leave a little in there still if you throw around heavy weight

hey just a quick question to all you fellow work out dudes
i have never done a serious cut and i had a question for once, how much carbs are u guys cutting out, like i started Wednesday last week and i am almost at zero carbs, is that 2 much. i can still workout ok but i do start to have zero energy.

eat all of your carbs pre and post workout. 1000 calories below maintenance.

if you want to have a serious cut go with 60% protein 30% fat 10% carbs.

if you want to just cut but can't handle not going so low on carbs (like me) go with 50% protein 25% carbs 25% fat.

don't count the carbs from veges.

30 mins of cardio (early morning empty stomach) keeping heart rate @ 130 is also good. 10g of bcaa's would/could help preserve muscle.

I don't really know what's the full potential use of psyllium husk but i'm assuming its for better digestion? Cuz I eat a lotta flax seed and whole grain/wheat products atm.

dietary cholesterol won't kill you
your body also produces cholesterol

high cholesterol level means that your arteries are inflamed/damaged

I need some recommendations for creatine monohydrate. What do you guys take?

!Yaminashi 06-08-2010 10:27 AM

I always though all creatine was pretty much the same. I'm taking celltech hardcore right now, I was told its good and its pretty cheap.

Any others that are better?

RRxtar 06-08-2010 03:15 PM

Im taking Allmax creatine mono. its made by Creapure which as far as I can tell is at the top of the creatine list and makes creatine for several labels. they claim to be the purest creatine and cleanest manufacturer with the lowest % of impurities.

hal0g0dv2 06-08-2010 03:34 PM

sonick 06-08-2010 03:38 PM

Ya, too bad they are usually useless.

Halogod, if you are trying to cut down, just start cutting away at your daily carb intake…no individual person can tell you how many carbs they take when they cut, because everyone is different. When bulking up, I hear the best thing is 1 carb for every lbs you weigh…so maybe start there, and chip away at it. I dont count carbs, or calories, I just know my diet and if I am trying to lose weight, I decrease my portion sizes, stick to higher fibre and less crappy foods. Combined with more cardio, I tend to lose some weight. I am beginning my cut this week too.
