Maybe im jealous..

why do people at my gym (fitness world at brentwood especially) doesn't do full rom on bench press and squat? same with dumbells?

SkinnyPupp 11-21-2011 06:10 PM

Because to them, big numbers is more important than actual training

Anyways, good leg workout 5 sets of 3 with 295lb.
Decided to go with low reps, and as A2G as possible.

Did 5 sets of leg press for 10-12 reps

Quads and glutes are burning :megusta:

Was a regular at brentwood till last month, and switched to richmond sportsclub cause no one uses the squat racks there. Still waiting for the first shooting to occur at brentwood.

Smarten up man, theres a daycare there where little kids run around! If anyone is planning to shoot anyone please do it in seclusion and not in public.

Or better yet don't do it at all.

DaFonz 11-21-2011 08:36 PM

Some guy in the gym today was standing on a bench inside a squat rack doing a standing row. :fulloffuck:

Muscle ups are pretty easy once you get the form right. Most people who work out regularly (not just bi's and chest) can do it.

It took me 2-3 months to be able to do 10 straight with momentum. I can do about 3-4 reps without any momentum at all. Those are hard.

Any tips on figuring out the form? I *think* I'm strong enough so something just isn't clicking for me.

I dunno what you have, but my boss was throwing up for 12 hrs on Thurs night. Damaged his throat so bad he lost his voice and still can't talk so he is taking the rest of the week off.

No specific Xmas goals. Just keep going with 3 days a week at the gym, get stronger and lose fat.

Gerbs 11-21-2011 11:18 PM

woo i got my squats up to 150lbs and deadlifts to 185lbs :fuckyea:

I'm with you on the strong lift man. While the several days split is good if you can dedicate the time, it really screws you over when you miss a day and gotta shift stuff and not rest one week or not rest between certain days.

I'm back on strong lifts because it worked for me while I was doing it, and it's simple. 3x a week, miss a day and you can still reschedule and shift stuff around to make it work.

Smarten up? Lol I won't be the one doing the shooting.

And since when do idiots care where they shoot lately?

Was more of a joke... But there are a few questionable people there .

Spent the whole day in bed, because whenever I sat up I would get dizzy and nauseous. I wonder if it is due to training hard even when getting no more than 3-6 hours of sleep each night... only 2 hours last night
