I wish I had chalk. Who cares if it's not a lot of weight. It's a lot of weight for YOU. that's what's important.

chalk is fine

ya i use to think gloves were the coolest looking things but i gave them up after realizing that i was essentially "cheating" with them.

and for the chalk thing i just didn't want people going wtf at me LOL. but yea. ill go get some. they are pretty dirt cheap too. anyone know where to get some? i know mountain equipment co-op has them. and they have the chalk sock thing too which my friend had and you just wipe it on your hand. less mess and wasted chalk that way. sadly mec is far from where i live and requires a membership!

I might just amazon.com it if I can't find any but there's an indoor rock wall place in richmond that I'm going to call tomorrow. If they have it I'll pick you up some and FYI chalkboard chalk does not always = weight lifters chalk. Also, you want solid type to keep it clean

kevin7352 11-23-2011 11:59 PM

yea baby powder =/= lifting chalk either lOL i jus couldn't think of any place that sells it closer than mec LOLOL. but dude amazon.com for something that costs 3 bucks?! DEADLIFT DAY TMRO BRAH

chin3se604 11-24-2011 12:14 AM

You should lower your weights down.

This ZYZZ, I dont get it, its some douchy ripped guy?

On another note, apparently I have tendonitis in one of my fingers caused from the weights, so I have to use gloves now. Man, after one week the swelling has gone down though and feels way better. I hate wearing them though because I think I look like a tool...

Phozy 11-24-2011 07:51 AM

Zyzz is a god ... Don't hate :D

Dunno if it's the SierraSil or the fact I just started taking Omega 3 fish oils, but my knee pain (bit of soreness in the tendon just below the kneecap) from hockey and squats seems to be improving.

Also my lifts have gone up suddenly for some reason the past week I've started taking the Fish Oil, Vitamin D and B12 vitamins. Not sure if it's coincidental.

I'm sorry is Outreach claiming to be 169lbs, benching 280lbs, and doing dips with 295lbs hanging from his belt? :lol I've known some incredibly strong guys from Cirque du Soliel performers to massive juice monkeys. None of them had that kind of strength to weight ratio. Outreach, I call complete bullshit. I'll start going between 5 and 7 now and keep my eye out for superhuman strength from a guy your size, camera ready.

Sorry to bring it back up guys, I missed all this lastnight cause I was actually working out :troll:

Call it alllll you want man. 4 plates is 180 Hanging from the belt. and i most certainly did 3 full reps of it. I've also never in my entire life EVER done roids. I'm through here man. This has become a circus.

Berzerker 11-24-2011 09:45 AM

Pretty sure Outreach is the same troll I've banned twice already. Gonna do some digging and see if I can make it 3 times!

Berz out.

seriously is this bradford, the guy who says he'll leave but comes back every time

see.lai 11-24-2011 10:46 AM

Actually, it might not be impossible for him to do 4 plates for dips.
My friend, (137lbs?) was able to do 2 plates, but he was really skinny as well. Outreach is nearly 170lbs, if I'm correct. Judging from the picture, he might be able to do 4 plates. 3 for sure though.

I can never do dips, though.. :alone:

Excelsis 11-24-2011 11:30 AM

seems like I saw this picture before :suspicious: will do some digging :troll:

I think the Brentwood Fitness World is the douchiest gym in Vancouver. Guy lastnight was using the squat rack to do chinups while he knew people were waiting to use the rack for legs. There were multiple other stations he could do that at, and the best part is he decided he needed STRAPS to do fucking chinups.

Everyone ego lifts. I very rarely see anyone doing weight they can actually handle from seated rows to deadlifts to even something as basic as the chest fly machine. Skinny guy lastnight was trying to fly 200lbs, except instead of keeping his arms straight and squeezing with his chest he was leaning forward with his arms bent 90 degrees and was still barely able to press it for a couple reps with about 1/4 of the proper ROM. Just brutal.

Oh ZYZZ. Came across his bs because I am into Armin/ASOT.

He became internet famous from positing multiple videos on youtube. Died at 22 of a heart attack in a sauna while on vacation in Thailand.
