Sad.. tried DLing 225 and couldnt even get it up. Just a question : For someone 5'7, when im starting the deadlift, should i sink my hips down to almost a 90 degree to start, or more of an angle? |

Yup I have to use mixed grip over about 280 right now. I alternate between lifts. I wonder how much easier it is with a belt and chalk... I see guys at my gym doing squats with straps around their knees, these tight ass lifting suits that constricts their movement, and lifting belts... ... It just seems to me that if you can only lift around 200 raw, you might as well work on that and leave all the gear to the guys doing 400+. But that's just me, to each their own :) |
