Today was one of those days where I didn't want to stop. I said I would tweak my low carb days (non workout days) but yesterday I took that a bit far and had several sugary things such as a can of FANTA and a BOLO YAU. It helped my workout, but I need to find the perfect balance of having enough energy to get a workout done fasted, but not too much carbs on off days. Started with Miltary Press, 100 lbs for 13. It's time to start using the olympic bar I guess. Went 90 lbs x 15, 80 x 16 and by then I was pumped to the gills. I dunno about you guys, but nothing pumps me more than military. From there went to Sumos since the squat rack was being used by a stinky dude I didn't want to bother sharing with. Started with some warmups then went to 275 for 4, 250 for 5, 220 for 6. Feelsgoodman to do those. My "upper body pull" was the hammer machine for rows. Never used these before but people were raving about Hammer Strength machines the other day so what the fuck. Started with 275 lbs total for 7 reps, and pyramided from there - 250 lbs for 11, 225 for 13. Finished up with the pec machine (always try to get a chest in since it is lagging so bad) then leg extensions. I WANTED to keep going, tried cable press at my usual 10 rep weight, but couldn't even start a rep. That's when you know it's time to go home :fuckyea: Good workout today, looking forward to eating and sleeping and watching UFC. |
