FIRST GYM DAY OF 2012!

Will be doing

Good Mornings
Decline Dumbbell Press
Seated Row (cable machine)
Lateral Raises
Something else for legs (would do extensions but my quads are still dead)

Phozy 01-01-2012 08:15 PM

Sick... and ive slacked for the entire week, going back on tuesday.

squat,dips, rows, incline, pullups, deadlift.

That and chest/back days are my favourite workouts

Excelsis 01-01-2012 08:25 PM

ahahhahahhah jimmy struthers on youtube

20 sets of quads and hamstrings and calves the next day ...

SkinnyPupp 01-01-2012 08:26 PM

Am I the only one who does TBT here instead of splits?

supershopper 01-01-2012 08:51 PM

well I went to the oval today (im a member there btw) and luckily, not as packed as I thought it would be at 4PM! Hopefully those new years' resolutioners don't crowd and hoard everything.

also, deadlifted 155@4 today, i only weigh 125 :fuckyea:

Excelsis 01-01-2012 08:56 PM

keep going at it and don't stop, you should start to put on weight

supershopper 01-01-2012 09:09 PM

I'm trying to, just eating lots and drinking more milk, but my weight hasn't changed, though my certainly looks like it packed on more muscle + strength

new years resolution: try to make homemade weight gainers

Excelsis 01-01-2012 09:10 PM

eat a lot of carbs and meat then, milk is just going to get you waterweight

supershopper 01-01-2012 09:16 PM

what's your take on dirty bulking then? like fast food items? Cause I work at Mcdonald's, and I get 50% off everything

SkinnyPupp 01-01-2012 09:40 PM

Don't worry about food being "dirty". Food is food, no matter where it comes from. Get at least 1g protein per lbs bodyweight, train heavy, and the rest will take care of itself.

or that lol

SkinnyPupp 01-01-2012 09:42 PM

If you're eating at McDonalds a lot, omit half the buns every time, and don't eat fries. Drink lots of water, as while sodium is good for you, it will dehydrate you if you eat a lot of it.

Words can't express how much rage you feel after a fasted workout if you didn't get to the gym soon enough. But the same can be said for how good you feel after a 1000 calorie meal. :sweetjesus:

Anyone start doing this yet? You seem to hear about it more and more these days. Ray Sefo was talking about it on THE REEM the other day.

YAAA BUDDY LEGS DAY!

jimzilla 01-02-2012 12:04 PM

The Costco Kaizen Isolate protein is on sale this week. Price increased $3 to about $34. Still best bang for buck isolate protein that you can find locally. Stock up boys. I'm in for 5 tubs.

good buy on the spagetti too

nns 01-02-2012 12:35 PM

Where do you guys buy your striploin steaks? Costco is pricey, around $20-25 for 3 or 4.

Somewhere around Vancouver would be nice.

Splmash 01-02-2012 12:46 PM

the IGA right beside my house has THE BEST striploins ive ever seen.

usually come in roughly 1kg packs of 4-5 strips. at $15.41/kg so about $7/lb. all the rest of their meat is between $19 and $28 a kg, but these are cheap. and the best steaks ive ever bought.

they dont always have them, and they are sometimes hidden under the other meat. but I always buy 3-4 packs of them when Im in there and freeze them.
