u guys prefer morning workouts or nights?

MindBomber 01-29-2012 11:51 PM

Morning, when my schedule allows.

At night, my gym is packed and full of retards working out in jeans. In the morning it's empty with the exception of a few serious people and a group of hilarious eighty year olds who sorta train, mainly socialize.

Doing my workout in the morning I feel fresh and relaxed with more energy to put into nailing my lifts than at night after a long day, it also physically and mentally wakes me up, increasing my energy levels throughout the day.

jack3d 01-30-2012 12:46 AM

yeah... morning or early afternoon before it gets packed

XplicitLuder 01-30-2012 01:06 AM

night for me, im opposite and hella weak in the morning. I normally go around 9:30-10pm , which only has some serious people working out and no one hogging the squat racks unless its the crazy asian crew i always see doing gnarly weights :okay:

hx2gls 01-30-2012 01:38 AM

I like to go right before dinner so I get a good post workout meal with real food.

SkinnyPupp 01-30-2012 02:00 AM

Late morning or early afternoon. I train fasted, and want to get going before I get hungry

Finally got to do squats after reading SS a lot... wow what a difference it makes. No wonder I was making literally NO progress. Feels good man to get down below parallel, and then feel the 'spring' that helps drive hips upward

My hammies are going to be sore as fuck tomorrow. Already are

Supafly 01-30-2012 06:32 AM

did goodmornings yesterday.....jesus, my hams are tight....but love the feeling of massaging my hams...

legs tonight....god damnit.

BrRsn 01-30-2012 06:42 AM

Fuck breakfast I eat barbells at 6am. Heavy squats at 6am...Oh baby, bring on the day.

Excelsis 01-30-2012 07:02 AM

supafly, careful with doing good mornings, they're good but one small mistake and you could fuck your back over for a lifetime

RDL > stiff legged dl's > good mornings

I'll limit it to prevent injuries.

Gonna start another program on wednesday and took a quick progress pic
Havent worked out in 11 days cause my shoulder was hurting

TouringTeg 01-30-2012 10:10 AM

Loving 6am workouts. Started them in January to avoid the New Years crowds. Couple hardcore people and quite a few seniors.

On some days I do cardio after work as well.

LC21 01-30-2012 10:54 AM

To squat or to not squat? Lower back is still sore.

BrRsn 01-30-2012 11:04 AM

I made the mistake of going right out of bed today. Was pretty dehydrated and muscles started cramping up on light weights lol. What's your pre gym like when you go gym 6am?

You know you are serious about working out when you don't call it "going to the gym" but instead it's "going to train"

:fuckyea:
